The Royals and River Hawks have established a recent tradition of battling for the title, with the last two seasons’ games held at Susquehanna, where the River Hawks came out on top both times. After a scoreless first half, Lydia Bechtel set up Maggie Keys for a back-handed shot to tie the game at 1-1 with under a minute left in the third period. Senior Annie Coll put the Royals ahead 2-1 with 7:35 remaining, and Keys added an insurance goal just over a minute later to make it 3-1. Wilkes cut the lead to 3-2 in the 55th minute, but Scranton held on for the win and a spot in the championship. Susquehanna hosted Elizabethtown in the semifinals. After a scoreless first half, the Blue Jays struck late in the third period to take a 1-0 lead. Less than six minutes into the fourth, Haley Dreisbach tied it at 1-1 off a pass from Emma Campitelli, and Campitelli later set up Jada Thompson for the game-winning goal. The River Hawks held on to secure their third straight trip to the Landmark Championship, where they will face Scranton for the third consecutive year.
