Bourgeois Named AP Special Teams Player of the Year; Five Make All-American Team

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Associated Press (AP) announced its NCAA Division III All-Americans, and five Susquehanna University student-athletes earned recognition.

Kicker Dominic Bourgeois was named AP Division III Special Teams Player of the Year after making a school-record 20-of-20 field goals, leading the nation. He earned First Team All-American honors alongside long snapper PJ Pollock, who helped Bourgeois and the River Hawks’ kickers combine for 69-of-70 extra points. This is Bourgeois’ second First Team All-American honor, following his recent selection by the AFCA.

Defensive lineman Galen Limantour was named Second Team All-American after recording 13.5 sacks, second all-time at Susquehanna, and earning Landmark Conference and D3football.com Region 2 Defensive Player of the Year honors.

Linebacker Jesse Ruisch and running back Rahshan La Mons were Third Team selections. Ruisch led the team with 71 tackles, while La Mons rushed for 905 yards and 14 total touchdowns.

These five standout performers helped Susquehanna win its third consecutive Landmark Conference title with a 6-0 league record, make a fourth straight NCAA Tournament appearance, and reach the Quarterfinals for the second consecutive year. The senior class, including Ruisch and Pollock, finishes as the winningest in program history with 43 victories.
