TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference announced its 2024-25 Women's Swimming & Diving All-Conference honorees, recognizing the top performers from this year's championship meet. First-Team honors were awarded to student-athletes who secured first-place finishes in their respective events, while Second-Team recognition went to those who placed second. Additionally, competitors who finished third earned Honorable Mention accolades.
Swimmer of the Year: Bella Mugno (Catholic University)
Diver of the Year: Nicole Stofko (University of Scranton)
Rookie of the Year: Kyra Gorman (Drew University)
Coaching Staff of the Year: University of Scranton
Bella Mugno earned Landmark Conference Swimmer of the Year honors for the second straight season. The junior dominated the competition with three individual victories at the championship meet, closing out the final day of the championship with a first-place finish in the 200 breaststroke (2:24.35), winning by more than two seconds. Mugno is the first in program history to receive a major award twice and continued Catholic's streak as the third consecutive Cardinal to claim the conference's top honor—following her win in 2024 and Katie Herman's recognition in 2023. Her achievement marks the fifth time a Cardinal has earned the award.
Nicole Stofko delivered a dominant performance on the boards, capturing both the 1-meter and 3-meter titles to be named Landmark Conference Diver of the Year. She posted a winning score of 326.15 points on the 1-meter board and 332.20 points on the 3-meter, securing her place atop the podium in both events. Her sweep extends Scranton's incredible run, marking the sixth consecutive year a Royal has claimed the league's top diving honor. Stofko follows in the footsteps of Jeanna Gailius (2020-23) and Colleen Barry (2012-14).
Kyra Gorman made an immediate impact at the Landmark Conference Championships, earning Rookie of the Year honors after a stellar debut for Drew University. She claimed individual titles in both the 100-freestyle (53.88) and 200-freestyle while medaling in all seven events she competed in—three individual and four relay. Gorman joins teammate Katerina Poulathas as a recent Rookie of the Year winner, continuing Drew's tradition of standout first-year performances alongside past honorees Amira Hadri (2021), Katie Cashin (2020), and Mal Vishwanath (2017).
The University of Scranton coaching staff, led by head coach Chris Brown, was named Landmark Conference Coaching Staff of the Year for the fifth time in the last six seasons and the third straight year. Brown and his staff guided the Royals to their fifth conference title—and second consecutive—after an outstanding team performance. Scranton amassed 859 total points, the second-highest total in league history and the most ever by the Royals.
