Scranton Women's Swimming & Diving Wins Second Straight Landmark Championship

BALTIMORE, Md. -- The University of Scranton women's swimming & diving team captured its second consecutive Landmark Conference Championship on Sunday.

Medal Count
  • The Scranton women finished with a total of 20 medals, including three gold, eight silver, and nine bronze. 
Top Performers
  • The 400 free relay team of Kim Gingrass, Aviah Dahlgren, Nichole Koltsov, and Marina Nunziato placed second overall with a time of 3:38.30. 
  • Freshman Alyssa Bean took silver in the 200 fly at 2:14.01, while junior Isabella Kane claimed bronze at 2:15.60. 
  • Gingrass earned bronze in the 100 free with a swim of 53.81. 
  • In the 200 back, sophomore Sophia Markatos finished third as she clocked in at 2:10.86.
