  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Riley Collins, Drew
    February 24, 2020
    (Sr, G - Lacey, N.J.) Senior Riley Collins posted back-to-back 25-point games in a pair of Drew victories, helping the Rangers lock down the No. 2 seed in the Landmark Conference Championships and a home semifinal. He shot 84.2% (16-19) from the free-throw line, and he also averaged 5.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game. In a big 73-70 victory at Scranton, he went 9-for-9 at the foul line and knocked down a pair of crucial foul shots with 13 seconds left. He also dished out seven assists and swiped three steals. Then in a 78-70 win over Catholic, he registered three assists and three steals while posting his second-straight 25-point outing. Collins nailed a big 3-pointer with 1:18 to go that gave Drew a seven-point lead, and he also hit two free throws with 15 seconds left to help salt the victory.
     
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Matt O'Connor, Moravian
    February 18, 2020
    (Junior, G - Philadelphia, Pa.) Junior Matt O'Connor helped Moravian to a 2-0 week in Landmark Conference action as the squad clinched its fourth straight conference tournament appearance. O'Connor averaged 23.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game while playing 79 of 80 minutes during the week, and he shot 15-of-32 from the floor, 4-for-14 on three-pointers and 13-for-20 at the foul line. O'Connor had 18 points, three rebounds five assists while playing all 40 minutes in a 68-66 victory over The University of Scranton. He had the final point of the game on a free throw with four seconds left. O'Connor then netted a career-high 29 points to go with six rebounds and four assists as the Greyhounds rallied for a 69-64 win at Goucher College to clinch a postseason berth.
     
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Riley Collins, Drew
    February 10, 2020
    (Senior, G - Lacey, N.J.) Drew University senior Riley Collins averaged 18.5 points and 7.0 assists per game while shooting 63.6% from the field and 54.5% (6-11) from 3-point range in a 2-0 week for the Rangers. In an 82-68 victory over Moravian, he scored 21 points on 9-of-16 shooting while dishing out seven assists. He followed up with 16 points and seven more assists in an 89-63 win over Goucher in which he shot 5-for-6, including 4-for-5 from 3-point range. With his third assist versus Goucher, he broke the Drew career record and now has 436.
     
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Connor Moffatt, Elizabethtown
    February 03, 2020
    (Senior, F - Mountville, Pa.) Elizabethtown senior Connor Moffatt pushed his double-double streak to six games, leading the Blue Jays to a 2-0 week, including a 19-point comeback against first place Scranton Saturday afternoon. Moffatt finished the week averaging 16.5 ppg and 11.5 rpg. In E-town's 70-68 win over the Royals he registered 18 points, including 12 in the second half, and 12 rebounds.
     
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Lybrant Robinson, Drew
    January 27, 2020
    (Junior, F - Manchester, N.J.) Drew University junior Lybrant Robinson averaged 17.0 points per game while shooting 66.7% (14-21) in a 2-0 week for the Rangers. He opened the week with an 18-point performance, shooting 8-for-12 from the field in a 98-83 win at Moravian. He followed up with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting in a 76-71 victory over Elizabethtown. Robinson and the Rangers are just the second team in school history to go 14-3, equaling the feat set by last year's squad.
     
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Matthew Mancuso, Scranton
    January 20, 2020
    (Senior, F - Bridgewater, N.J.) The University of Scranton senior Matthew Mancuso became the 44th player in program history to reach the 1,000 point milestone for his career with his 23 point effort at Catholic on Saturday, leading Scranton to their eighth win in their last nine games. He added 15 points against Moravian and has scored in double-figures in all 15 games Scranton has played in on the year. The senior snatched 16 rebounds in the win over Moravian for his eighth double-double of the year and third straight overall, and matched a career-high with six blocks at Catholic.
     
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Logan Bailey, Scranton
    January 13, 2020
    (Junior, G - Scranton, Pa.) University of Scranton junior Logan Bailey had his two best scoring games of the 2019-20 season this past week, putting together a pair of 20-plus point scoring contests. After a 21-point effort in a loss at Arcadia, Bailey tallied a game-high 25 points in a 91-60 win over Elizabethtown on Saturday in which the Royals outscored the Blue Jays by 31 points in the 2nd half (55-23). He also dished out a season-high seven assists in the win. On the week, Bailey shot 68 percent from the field on 17-of-25 shooting to go along with six rebounds, eight assists, and one block.
     
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Connor Moffatt, Elizabethtown
    January 06, 2020
    (Senior, F - Mountville, Pa.) Elizabethtown senior Connor Moffatt averaged a double-double last week, leading the Blue Jays to three straight wins, including a victory in the Spooky Nook Tournament Championship over St. Mary's. He registered 21.3 points per game and 13.0 rebounds per game in Elizabethtown's three wins. In the championship game against the Seahawks, Moffatt scored 18 points and grabbing eight boards, helping fuel the Blue Jays to a 14 point comeback in the finals. Moffatt was named to the All-Tournament team.
     
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - C.J. Barnes, Moravian
    December 23, 2019
    (Senior, Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) Senior C.J. Barnes helped Moravian to a 1-1 week to close out the first half of the season, and he also became the Greyhounds' 24th 1,000-point scorer. Barnes averaged 18.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 9-of-24 from the floor, 7-for-17 beyond the three-point line and 11-for-11 at the foul line to go along with five assists. Barnes had 13 points, four boards and three assists in an 85-78 loss to Yeshiva University while playing 32 minutes. He finished the week with 23 points, seven rebounds and two assists in an 83-70 win over Immaculata University.
     
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Riley Collins, Drew
    December 16, 2019
    (Senior, G - Lacey, N.J.) Drew senior Riley Collins posted an outstanding all-around performance in Drew's 76-65 victory over Wilkes, which entered the game with a 6-2 record. Offensively, he poured in 29 points, knocked down five 3-pointers, shot 8-for-8 at the foul line, and dished out four assists. He also grabbed eight rebounds - one shy of his career-high - and swiped seven steals, tying the school record. Collins scored 14 of his points over the game's opening eight minutes, when he drained four of his 3's as the Rangers raced out to a 30-6 lead.
     
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Riley Collins, Drew
    December 09, 2019
    (Senior, G - Lacey, N.J.) Drew senior Riley Collins averaged 19.0 points and 6.5 assists per game in a 2-0 week for Drew. In an 87-67 victory over King's, he reached the career 1,500-point milestone in the first half, then scored 14 of his 19 points in the second period to help the Rangers pull away after leading by just four at halftime. He also dished out eight assists and knocked down five 3-pointers versus the Monarchs. Collins also scored a game-high 19 points and handed out five assists to lead Drew to a 64-54 victory at Catholic in its Landmark Conference opener.
     
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Lybrant Robinson, Drew
    December 02, 2019
    (Junior, F - Manchester, N.J.) Drew junior Lybrant Robinson posted 22 points and eight rebounds in Drew's 86-74 victory over FDU-Florham. He shot 8-for-15 from the field and knocked down a pair of big buckets in the second half to help the Rangers pull away. First, he nailed a 3-pointer with 7:41 left that came in the middle of a decisive 15-2 run after the Devils had tied the game. He also helped seal the win with a put-back with 53 seconds remaining that made it a 12-point game.
     
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Matthew Mancuso, Scranton
    November 25, 2019
    (Sr., F - Bridgewater, N.J.) Scranton senior Matthew Mancuso had back-to-back double-doubles for the Royals on the week, as Scranton bounced back from a loss last weekend to knock off Wilkes and Cabrini on the road. He had career-highs in points and rebounds in the win at Cabrini, as 22-rebound effort in the win was the best for a Royals player in a game since 1993. Mancuso shot 76 percent from the free throw line on the week, but also nailed four three's, draining a pair in each victory. The senior also had seven assists, four steals and four blocks in two games, as well.
     
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Riley Collins, Drew
    November 18, 2019
    Drew senior Riley Collins averaged 25.3 points per game while leading the Rangers to a 2-1 start. He was named to the All-Tournament Team at Drew's Larry Horner C'40 Rose City Classic, where he tied his own tournament record with 59 total points. He opened the Classic with 28 points in a 75-69 win over Old Westbury, then scored 31 in an 88-80 championship-game loss to Hamilton, a team that reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament last season. He also scored 17 points to lead the Rangers to a victory over Penn Abington in their season opener. For the week, Collins shot 56.0% from the field, including 55.0% (11-20) from 3-point range.
     
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Connor Moffatt, Elizabethtown
    November 11, 2019
    (Senior, F - Mountville, Pa.) Elizabethtown senior Connor Moffatt finished with a game-high 23 points on 8-12 shooting, leading the Blue Jays to a come-from-behind win over Wilson, 82-77. Scoring only four points in the first half, Moffatt dropped 15 in the second half to carry Elizabethtown back from a 14 point deficit with just over nine minutes remaining in the game. The senior added eight rebounds and five assists in the opening day win.
