Nogiewich celebrated his Senior Day at Ranger Stadium with two goals, including a made penalty kick that went down as the game-winning goal in Drew's playoff-clinching 4-2 victory over Moravian College on Saturday. His first goal equalized the match at 1-1 after the Greyhounds got on the board first. His second goal was a well-placed penalty kick to give the Rangers the lead for good as they captured the No. 3 seed in this week's Landmark Conference Championships.

  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Brandon Weiner, Goucher
    November 03, 2014
(Sr., D, Derwood, Md.) Weiner’s game-tying header with 15:31 left on Saturday sent the Gophers to the Landmark playoffs for the first time since the conference's formation. He also made an outstanding slide tackle to break up a potential breakaway earlier in the game as Goucher finished with a 1-1 tie against Susquehanna.

  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Gavin Yingling, USMMA
    October 27, 2014
(So., F, Salisbury, Md.) Yingling tallied two game-winning goals in overtime week as USMMA defeated Drew and Scranton in Landmark action. The Mariners clinched a home semifinal game and could still earn the No. 1 seed in the tournament with a Catholic loss this week.

  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Cam Linnville, Catholic
    October 27, 2014
(Fr., D, Boone, N.C.) Linnville anchored a Catholic defense that picked up two shutouts this week against Ursinus and Susquehanna. The Cardinals played to a scoreless tie with Ursinus mid-week, before locking up a home Landmark semifinal with a 3-0 win over Susquehanna on Saturday.

  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Dylan Hammer, Drew
    October 20, 2014
(So., M, Roxbury, N.J.) Hammer netted the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute in the Rangers' 2-1 win at Goucher College on Saturday. The sophomore put both of his shots on target in the victory, with the decisive strike coming late in the game by following up a rebounded shot in front of goal. Hammer's goal held up as the game-winner and Drew improved to 3-1-1 in the Landmark Conference.

  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Torsten Meuschke, Catholic
    October 20, 2014
(Sr., GK, Gaithersburg, Md.) Mueschke played nearly 75 minutes of Catholic’s 4-0 shutout against Scranton on Saturday. The senior goalkeeper made three saves to keep the Royals off the board. The Cardinals added three points and sit atop the Landmark standings with 13 points.

  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Tate Becker, Goucher
    October 13, 2014
(So., M, San Diego, Calif.) Becker scored the game-winning goal in Goucher's first-ever win at Scranton and only the second victory in nine career meetings against the Royals. Becker opened the scoring with an unassisted goal in the ninth minute of play as the Gophers earned the 2-0 win.

  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Michael Reyes, Drew
    October 13, 2014
(Sr., GK, Delran, N.J.) Reyes helped keep two of the most prolific offenses in the Landmark Conference at bay during his 200 minutes between the pipes last week. He tied a career-high with eight saves during the double-overtime scoreless draw with Catholic on Saturday, the fifth time he has recorded the fifth highest save total in Drew history. Two of those saves were full-extension dives in overtime to save the game. On Wednesday Reyes made four stops to help hold off Scranton until the Royals sneaked one by in the 83rd minute. Reyes recorded a .923 save percentage during the week.

  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Hunter Horvath, Catholic
    October 06, 2014
(Sr., M/D, Southlake, Texas) Horvath helped Catholic to a 1-0-1 record this week with the game-winning goal over Merchant Marine. With the score tied at one and less than 11 minutes remaining, he set himself up for a bicycle kick that hit the top right corner of the goal to put the Cardinals ahead for good. Earlier in the week, Catholic played No. 20 Salisbury to a scoreless tie.

  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Matthew Busch, Scranton
    October 06, 2014
(So., D, Mahwah, N.J.) Busch continues to play a strong two-way game for Scranton at right outside back. He helped the Royals hold Wilkes to just five shots, none in the second half, in a come-from-behind 2-1 victory on the road on Wednesday. On Saturday, he was a big reason why the Royals allowed just five shots, this time all in the second half, in a 2-0 win over Juniata at home. Busch's ability to contain the opponents' wingers while pressing the action offensively when he gains possession helped Scranton control possession throughout both matches.

  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Gavin Yingling, USMMA
    September 29, 2014
(So., F, Salisbury, Md.) Yingling scored both of Merchant Marine’s goals this week. • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Eric Hintz, Scranton
    September 29, 2014
(So., GK, South Windsor, Conn.) Hintz stopped a penalty kick midway through the second half for one of his five saves in a 1-0 victory at Susquehanna on Saturday. On the PK, he dove to his left to get a hand on the ball, and then scrambled to his feet to clear the ball off the line and keep the game scoreless. Earlier in the week, he made one save in 45 minutes in a 3-1 victory at Ithaca.

  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Tyler Zimmerman, Catholic

    September 15, 2014
(Jr., F/M, Sao Paulo, Brazil) Souza tallied two goals in Susquehanna’s 3-0 win at Misericordia on Wednesday. The Crusaders also picked up a draw on Saturday at the always competitive York College (Pa.). Souza finished with four points this week.

(Fr., M, Paramus, N.J.) Drew rookie Benjamin Audi saw his minutes increase during the Rangers' runner-up finish at the 14th Annual Cialella Soccer Classic at Rutgers-Camden last weekend. Audi made the most of his opportunity in Sunday's 2-1 overtime win over New Jersey City University. The Ranger freshman sailed a 35-yard shot over the Gothic Knights' goalkeeper for the Golden Goal in overtime, and he assisted on the other goal with a well-executed set play off a corner kick. Audi was named to the Cialella Classic All-Tournament team after Drew posted a 1-1 record, falling to nationally-ranked Rutgers-Camden 2-1 on Saturday.

  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Nicholas Stolarz, Goucher
    September 08, 2014
(So., GK, Clark, N.J.) Stolarz earned his second shutout of the season and fourth of his career by making seven saves in Goucher’s 1-0 victory over McDaniel. The contest marked Goucher's first win over the Green Terror since 2009.

Nogiewich was named the Fall Fest Offensive MVP after the Rangers won the tournament with a 1-0-1 record. The central midfielder was active on offense, taking a team-high nine shots during the weekend, and a presence in the defense that did not allow a goal in 200 minutes of action.
