  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Henry Bonilla (Scranton)
    (Sr., kickers - Fairless Hills, Pa.) Bonilla single-handily won the Landmark Conference season opener for the Royals on Saturday night, scoring a goal in each half to pace Scranton to a 2-1 victory. The game-winner came in the 60th minute of the match and was his third game-winner of the season, eighth of his four-year career.
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Tyler Zimmerman (Catholic)

    (Sr, - Raleigh, N.C.) The senior captain kept the Cardinals alive this week guiding the team to a 3-2 victory over Juniata and securing the No. 4 in the Landmark Conference playoffs. Zimmerman notched one goal and one assist in the first half. With a 2-2 score and overtime insight in the 90th minute, Zimmerman dribbled down the pitch and fired one last shot that made it past the keeper for a Catholic victory.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Rodrigo Barrera (Elizabethtown)
    November 02, 2015
    (Sr, GK - Sao Paulo, Brazil) E-town keeper Rodrigo Barrera earned his eighth shutout of the season with a four-save effort against Scranton Saturday. Barrera lowered his goals against average to 0.65 and raised his save percentage to .851 in the 2-0 victory. Barrera's shutout was his second in a row and he has allowed just three goals in his last 11 starts.
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Jeff Light (Elizabethtown)
    October 26, 2015
    (Jr, F - Hershey, Pa.) Jeff Light scored twice in E-town's 3-0 win over Drew Saturday to give head coach Skip Roderick his 500th win. With goals in the 7th and 88th minutes, Light continued a torrid run through October that has seen him produce 15 points on six goals and three assists with a pair of multi-goal games. The Blue Jays improved to 15-1-1 overall and 7-0 in the Landmark with Saturday's win, and also picked up a victory Wednesday at Goucher.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Eric Hintz (Scranton)
    October 26, 2015
    (Jr, GK - South Windsor, Conn.) Anchored a Scranton defense that did not allow a goal in two Landmark matches this week, as the Royals clinched the second seed in the Conference Tournament, where they will play for the first time since 2012. He made four saves on the week and notched his fourth shutout victory of the season in the Moravian match. Hintz has posted a goals against average of 0.90 for the year and has made 37 total saves.
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Tyler Zimmerman (Catholic)

    (Sr, F - Raleigh, N.C.) The Catholic senior led the Cardinals offense taking five shots and tallying two points this week. Zimmerman notch the tying goal against Scranton, on Saturday, sending the Cards and Royals into overtime periods.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Jeremy Motsko (Susquehanna)
    October 19, 2015
    (Jr, D - Breinigsville, Pa. / Parkland) Motsko started both games as SU went 1-1 on the week. He scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win against Moravian on his only shot of the game. He also helped hold Moravian to just five shots on goal in the shutout win. Against Gettysburg, SU had 19 shots to the Bullets' 13 and only four of those shots were on goal. This season, Motsko has started 13 of 14 games and has two goals, including the game winner last week. He has 10 shots (seven on goal) as a defender. SU is out-shooting opponents 89-75 and out-scoring opponents 1.50-1.36. Opponents are also putting just .403 shots on goal vs. the SU defense. The Crusaders are 7-5-2 overall with a 2-1-2 mark in Landmark games.
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Jeff Light (Elizabethtown)

    (Jr, F - Hershey, Pa.) Jeff Light carried No. 21 Elizabethtown to a 2-0 week in the Landmark Conference with game-winning goals against Susquehanna and Merchant Marine. Light, a junior from Hershey, had a five-point night Wednesday against Susquehanna, scoring twice in the second half and assisting on the Blue Jays' first half goal. He scored the game-winner against the Crusaders in the 75th minute before adding an insurance marker in the 81st. In a pivotal game Saturday at Merchant Marine, Light scored the game's only goal in the 65th minute, as E-town moved to 5-0 in the conference and started to distance itself from the rest of the pack. Light has already established new career-highs in goals (six), assists (five) and points (17), and has 10 points (4 g, 2 a) over his last three games.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Rodrigo Barrera (Elizabethtown)
    October 12, 2015
    (Sr, GK - Sao Paulo, Brazil) Senior goalkeeper Rodrigo Barrera improved to 11-1-1 on the season, backstopping No. 21 Elizabethtown to a pair of Landmark wins over Susquehanna and Merchant Marine last week. Barrera stopped three shots in a 3-1 win over Susquehanna Wednesday, before blanking Merchant Marine with an eight-save performance in Saturday's 1-0 victory. Barrera had an .889 save percentage and 0.50 goals against average for the week. The shutout Saturday was his sixth of the season and third in the last four games. For the season, Barrera has made 48 saves, compiled a .842 save percentage and 0.72 goals against average. He ranks second in the Landmark in both save percentage and GAA.
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Aaron Rathsam (Elizabethtown)

    (So, M - Lancaster, Pa.) Aaron Rathsam had the game-winning goal and added an assist in Elizabethtown's 3-0 win over Moravian Saturday night. Rathsam's goal came just 2:27 into the game, when a clearing attempt was put on his foot at the top of the 18. Rathsam drove a shot off the left post and in for the early lead. It would hold up as the game-winner. It was another blast from Rathsam in the 57th minute that set up Jeff Light's rebound goal as the Jays went in front 2-0. Rathsam also started and played a strong game in the midfield for E-town during its 1-0 win over Messiah Wednesday evening.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - John Marques (Drew)

    (Jr, GK - Warren, N.J.) Junior goalkeeper John Marques picked up two shutouts in as many games last week, including a 110-minute clean sheet in the scoreless draw at Susquehanna on Saturday. Marques made seven saves in the Landmark contest, including one in the final seconds, helping Drew earn an important league draw on the road. In a 1-0 non-conference victory against New York University on Tuesday, he made five saves. Marques' 2015 shutout total rises to seven, tops in the Landmark, while his save percentage (.885) and goals-against average (0.52) also lead the Landmark at the season's midway point. Drew's 64 percent shutout percentage ranks 19th in the country.
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Gavin Yingling (USMMA)

    (Jr, F - Salisbury, Md.) Yingling had another monstrous week for the Mariners, helping the squad earn two victories over non-conference NYU, 4-1, on Tuesday night at home and on the road in a Landmark game against Goucher, 2-0, on Saturday. The junior scored in both games, including the equalizer in the second half of the NYU game, which then set off a barrage of chances for the Mariners in that half to help head coach Michael Smolens earn his 300th career win. Yingling also picked up two assists in that victory over the Violets. On Saturday at Goucher, he added an insurance goal with under 20 minutes to play that doubled the Mariners' lead from 1-0 to 2-0. Yingling now has nine goals in nine games this season to go along with two assists.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Martin Fevre (Elizabethtown)
    September 28, 2015
    (Sr, D - Chablis, France) Martin Fevre added two more goals, including the game-winner at Juniata Saturday, as Elizabethtown went 1-0-1 last week. In Wednesday's game at Alvernia, Fevre and the Blue Jay defense played to a scoreless draw, locking up their fourth shutout of the season. Saturday, Fevre scored the eventual game-winner in the 40th minute and then netted his second directly off a corner kick in the 71st as the Jays took a 4-1 decision over the Eagles. Fevre's 13 points (5 goals, 3 assists) rank second on the Blue Jays and his point and goal totals are already new career-highs.
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Eric Dempsey (Susquehanna)
    September 21, 2015
    (Fr, M - Danville, Pa.) Dempsey made his first collegiate start in SU's 4-1 win over Lebanon Valley and had an assist. On Saturday, Dempsey had an assist on the game tying goal and then scored the winner with eight minutes to play in a come from behind, 2-1 victory at USMMA. He finished with four shots (three on goal) and four points. Through five games (of which he has started two), Dempsey has one goal and two assists for four points. SU is 4-3-0 overall with a 1-0-0 record in Landmark games.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Martin Fevre (Elizabethtown)
    September 21, 2015
    (Sr, D - Chablis, France) Senior defender Martin Fevre scored five points last week as 22nd-ranked Elizabethtown went 1-1 and opened Landmark play with a victory over defending conference champion Catholic. Fevre had a goal and an assist against No. 4 Franklin & Marshall Wednesday evening and connected on a penalty kick in the 60th minute of Saturday evening's win over the Cardinals that gave the Blue Jays a 2-1 lead at the time. Fevre, a 2014 All-Landmark First Team pick, finished the week with four shots (three on goal). He currently ranks second on the team in scoring with nine points (three goals, three assists).
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Gavin Yingling (USMMA)
    September 14, 2015
    (Jr, F - Salisbury, Md.) Yingling kept his hot start to the season going this past week with two more goals. Both were game-winners in very close 1-0 decisions. The first came in overtime on the road at SUNY Maritime, while the second was early in the second half of in the home-opener on Sunday against rival Coast Guard. The junior now has four goals in five games, including three game-winners.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Eric Hintz (Scranton)
    September 14, 2015
    (Jr, GK - South Windsor, Conn.) Posted his ninth shutout of his career at Muhlenberg on Wednesday, making four saves in Scranton's 2-0 win over the Mules. He made two more saves in the first half against Centenary on Sunday, helping the Royals preserve a 1-0 win. Hintz has made 10 saves in four matches on the year.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - John Marques (Drew)
    September 08, 2015
    (Jr, GK - Warren, N.J.) Junior goalkeeper John Marques made the most of his first full week as a starting goalkeeper for the Rangers by posting the best statistical start to the season in the Landmark Conference. As Drew started the season 3-0 and won its own Fall Festival Tournament for the second straight year, Marques was named the tournament's Defensive MVP after logging a shutout, 12 saves, and just one goal allowed in 180 minutes. Overall last week, the keeper made 18 saves, recorded two shutouts, and put up a .947 save percentage, all tops in the Landmark Conference.
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Gilbert Waso (Elizabethtown)
    September 08, 2015
    (Fr, F - Elizabethtown, Pa.) Dynamic freshman Gilbert Waso wasted no time making an impact, scoring three goals and collecting points in all three games as the Blue Jays got off to a 3-0 start. In the opener against PSU Harrisburg Tuesday, Waso registered his first career point with an assist on Shane Votto's game-winning goal. Waso shined in the Blue Jay/Red Devil Classic, scoring the opening goal in a 2-1 win over Dickinson Saturday, and both E-town goals in a 2-0 victory against DeSales Sunday. Waso was named Classic Offensive MVP and totaled seven points for the week.
