  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Tony Oliveira, Drew
    November 04, 2019
    (Jr, M - Linden, N.J.) Oliveira posted two goals and two assists in a 2-0 week for the Rangers. He notched one goal and two assists in a 4-1 win at FDU-Florham, then scored what held up as the game-winning goal on an 83rd-minute penalty kick in a 2-1 victory at Susquehanna.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Jack Long, Catholic
    November 04, 2019
    (Jr., GK - Manasquan, NJ) Long made three saves in a 2-0 shutout win over Elizabethtown as the Cardinals completed a perfect Landmark Conference regular season on Saturday. Long's clean sheet was his 12th on the season, and fifth against conference opponents.
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Aidan Cserhat, Drew
    October 28, 2019
    (Sr, F - Taos, N.M.) Cserhat posted one goal and three assists in a 1-1 week for the Rangers. He assisted on the team's lone goal versus Scranton, then registered one goal and two helpers in a 4-1 victory over Juniata. He had a hand in each of Drew's first three goals versus the Eagles and scored the game's first goal just a minute into the contest. Cserhat then assisted on each of the team's next two tallies to help the Rangers build a 3-0 lead.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Jake Hodlofski, Scranton
    October 28, 2019
    (So., GK - West Chester, Pa.) Hodlofski allowed just one goal in two matches and made 10 saves last week as the Royals extended their unbeaten streak to five. The sophomore goalie started the week with two saves in a 3-1 win at Drew on Wednesday and registered eight saves in Saturday's 1-0 double overtime victory versus Susquehanna.
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Ethan Blakely, Moravian
    October 21, 2019
    (Jr., F - Pompton Plains, N.J.) Blakely had a pair of assists in the Greyhounds 2-1 come-from-behind Landmark Conference victory Saturday in the team's only match of the week. Blakely set up both goals in the 89th minute, just 38 seconds apart. First, he chipped a ball in from the right side that was headed in by Dave Steinbach for the tying goal. He then took a free kick from the corner area and served it into the box, finding Akinori Mollenthiel with the winning goal 38 seconds later.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Akinori Mollenthiel, Moravian
    October 21, 2019
    (Sr., D - East Stroudsburg, Pa.) Mollenthiel helped Moravian to a 1-0 record last week with the game-winning goal in the 89th minute versus Drew University for a 2-1 victory. Mollenthiel's goal was his third tally of his career and second game winner. At the other end of the field just a minute after scoring, Mollenthiel cleared away Drew's final chance in the box in the waning seconds of the match.
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Chris Naiman, Susquehanna
    October 14, 2019
    (Jr, F - Lake Hopatcong, N.J.) Chris Naiman propelled Susquehanna to a 1-1 week with two goals. Naiman netted the game-winner in a 1-0 win over regionally-ranked Gettysburg before giving the River Hawks a 1-0 lead at No. 19 Catholic in the ninth minute. He has scored three goals in four games and leads the team with five goals and 11 points.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Matt Ellingworth, Susquehanna
    October 14, 2019
    (Sr, GK - Sparta, N.J.) Matt Ellingworth helped Susquehanna to a 1-1 week. Ellingworth collected his first shutout of the season with three saves in a 1-0 win over regionally-ranked Gettysburg. He then tallied a career-best 10 saves in a 3-2 loss at No. 19 Catholic.
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Ben Alexander, Catholic
    October 07, 2019
    (So., F - Bel Air, Md.) Alexander helped the Cardinals extend their winning streak to five games and unbeaten streak to eleven with two game-winning goals last week. The sophomore forward scored the winner against 2018 NCAA Tournament team Eastern in the 72nd minute after stealing the ball from a defender and finishing one-on-one against the goalkeeper for the 3-2 win. He then scored the lone goal in an intense conference victory over Drew in the 51st minute. The Bel Air, Md. native sits tied for the lead in the Landmark Conference in goals (8) and points (18).
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Kelvin Del cid, Elizabethtown
    October 07, 2019
    (Fr, G - Reading, Pa.) Freshman Kelvin Del Cid earned his first career conference shutout, finishing the week with a perfect 2-0 record. After playing the first half in the Blue Jays' 3-0 victory over Penn St. Berks, Del Cid tallied three saves in Elizabethtown's 3-0 victory against Juniata. The rookie also tallied his second assist of the season on the Blue Jays' second goal of the game. Del Cid is 2-0 in conference play, allowing one goal with a 0.50 goals against average. He is second in the conference in saves (52), fourth in the conference in save percentage (.813) and fifth in goals against average (1.10).
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Aidan Cserhat, Drew
    September 30, 2019
    (Sr, F - Taos, N.M.) Cserhat scored a pair of goals and reached the career 100-point milestone in Drew's 2-2 tie versus Goucher. With the Rangers trailing 2-0 early in the second half, he scored twice over a nine-minute stretch midway through the period, starting with a penalty kick in the 59th minute. He then struck on a free kick in the 69th minute, giving him 101 career points. Cserhat is just the seventh player in program history to reach the century mark and the first in 14 years.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Jason Adamo, Drew
    September 30, 2019
    (Sr, GK - Roxbury, N.J.) Adamo made a career-high eight saves to help lead the Rangers to a 1-0 double-overtime shutout at Kean. He made a save in each of the overtime periods and had a pair of outstanding saves in the closing moments of regulation. He also stopped three shots over the opening 57 minutes of a 2-2 tie versus Goucher.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Kelvin Del cid, Elizabethtown
    September 23, 2019
    (Fr, G - Reading, Pa.) Freshman Kelvin Del Cid wrapped up a perfect week in goal, tallying two clean sheets to lead the Blue Jays to a 2-0 record. The freshman made seven saves in the team's 3-0 victory over Alvernia and then guided the defense to a 2-0 victory, not allowing a shot on goal. Del Cid has been settling into goal for Elizabethtown, holding team's scoreless over the last 257 minutes. He leads the conference with 40 saves on the year and is third with an .833 save percentage.
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Bass Diakhoumpa, Juniata
    September 23, 2019
    (So., F - Dakar, Senegal) Diakhoumpa tallied one goal against PSU Altoona before registering three goals and an assist against Chatham. The sophomore tallied his three goals in 10 minutes.
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Connor Rathsam, Elizabethtown
    September 16, 2019
    (Sr, M - Lancaster, Pa.) Senior Connor Rathsam led Elizabethtown to its lone win of the week, scoring two goals in the Blue Jays 3-1 victory over Lebanon Valley. Rathsam leads the team with five points on two goals and one assist.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Jack Long, Catholic
    September 16, 2019
    (Jr., GK - Manasquan, NJ) Junior goalkeeper Jack Long earned two clean sheet wins last week for the Catholic University men's soccer team that has not allowed a goal in a span of 451:22. In a 4-0 victory over Randolph-Macon, Long made four important saves in the first half, including a penalty kick save in the 8th minute. With the match still scoreless, the Manasquan, N.J. native blocked a point-blank effort with his legs to keep it out of goal. After the five save shutout against the Yellow Jackets, Long followed with a four save shutout on the road against Dickinson in 1-0 Catholic win. He added nine saves and two wins last week, giving him four wins (all shutouts) and 20 saves on the year.
     
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Aidan Cserhat, Drew
    September 09, 2019
    (Sr, F - Taos, N.M.) Cserhat was named MVP of the Rutgers-Newark Brick City Classic after erupting for nine points and posting his second career hat trick over a pair of Ranger victories, leading Drew to the tournament title. He opened his big weekend by scoring the game-winning goal on a penalty kick in the 71st minute of a 2-1 victory over NYU, which received votes in the USC Division III preseason poll. Cserhat followed up with a career-high seven-point performance, scoring three goals and assisting on another in a 5-1 win over Pfeiffer. Cserhat had a hand in each of Drew's first four goals, assisting on the first before scoring three in a row.
     
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Logan Storti, Juniata
    September 09, 2019
    (Jr., D) Started all games and helped the defense to two shutouts while adding four assists.
