  • Men's Track Athlete of the Week - Ean Mann, Elizabethtown
    February 24, 2020
    (Jr., Hancock, Md.) Elizabethtown junior Ean Mann won the 55m and broke a 14-year-old school record in doing so on Sunday at the DuCharme Invitational. Nearly 14 years to the day, Mann qualified for the final with a 6.56 and then blazed a 6.51 to win the event and set the new record. Mann won an event for the third consecutive meet (fourth overall this season) and heads into championship Saturday as the top short-distance sprinter.
     
  • Men's Field Athlete of the Week - Shane Mastro, Moravian
    February 24, 2020
    (Jr., Middletown, N.J.) Moravian junior Shane Mastro captured the shot put at the Kutztown University Last Chance Qualifier with a PR distance of 14.95 meters (49-0.75). Mastro was also fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 14.63 meters (48-0).
     
  • Women's Track Athlete of the Week - Azia Kalil, Juniata
    February 24, 2020
    (Sr., Methuen, Mass.) Juniata senior Azia Kalil improved upon her mile time from Jan. 18th. Her previous time was 5:21.66 and her new time of 5:19.39 keeps her third all-time in the Juniata record book.
     
  • Women's Field Athlete of the Week - Natalie Nye, Elizabethtown
    February 24, 2020
    (Sr., Shippensburg, Pa.) After being stuck in a first-place tie for Elizabethtown's pole vault record, Natalie Nye claimed sole possession of the best mark in school history on Sunday at the DuCharme Invitational. Nye cleared 3.23m (10'7") and won the event at Dickinson as she remains the top vaulter in the conference heading into the Landmark Indoor Championship meet.
     
  • Men's Track Athlete of the Week - Vinnie Caroselli, Juniata
    February 18, 2020
    (Senior, Upland, Pa.) Juniata senior Vinnie Caroselli set a new school record in the 3000m on Saturday. Caroselli ran a 8:51.82 at the Susquehanna University Invitational.
     
  • Men's Field Athlete of the Week - Brian Price, Elizabethtown
    February 18, 2020
    (Sophomore, York, Pa.) Elizabethtown sophomore Brian Price threw a pair of personal bests at the Albright Throws Meet on Sunday. Price was the runner-up in the shot put at 12.25m and moved from 10th to 5th all-time at E-town. He placed third in the weight throw at 13.56m, which improved his 4th-place standing in program history.
     
  • Women's Track Athlete of the Week - Carly Danoski, Moravian
    February 18, 2020
    (Senior, Clarks Summit, Pa.) Moravian senior Carly Danoski broke her own school record in the mile run by nearly two and a half seconds, winning the Invite mile run in a time of 4:54.78, which is also a new Landmark Conference record and fifth in the nation on the TFRRS list. Danoski also ran the anchor leg of the 4x400 that finished seventh in a time of 4:05.72, the third fastest time in school history.
     
  • Women's Field Athlete of the Week - Sara Arbogast, Susquehanna
    February 18, 2020
    (Junior, Selinsgrove, Pa.) Susquehanns junior Sara Arbogast picked up another AARFTC qualifying mark in the triple jump as Arbogast finished third with 11.29m. After coming in third in the 60m dash trials in 8.16, Arbogast notched a fourth-place finish in the finals in 8.19.
     
  • Men's Track Athlete of the Week - Joseph LaPointe, Catholic
    February 10, 2020
    (Senior, Ellicot City, Md.) Catholic University senior Joseph LaPointe earned two top-three finishes at the Alvernia Plex Shooutout Meet on Saturday. He was the first runner to finish in the 800m (1:59.67) and placed third in the mile with his time of 4:30.38.
     
  • Men's Field Athlete of the Week - Chris Petraskie, Susquehanna
    February 10, 2020
    (Senior, Shamokin, Pa.) Susquehanna University senior Chris Petraskie highlighted the weekend with a school record in the heptathlon, breaking his own mark from a year ago. Petraskie tallied 4,472 points for third overall, qualifying for the AARFTC Regional Championships in the process. He bested his old record of 4,395 set at the 21st Annual Bison Open on Jan. 25-26, 2019, by 77 points. Petraskie recorded personal bests in the 60m dash (7.38) and shot put (9.40m).
     
  • Women's Track Athlete of the Week - Carly Danoski, Moravian
    February 10, 2020
    (Senior, Clarks Summit, Pa.) Moravian senior Carly Danoski set two school records at the University of Albany Winter Classic at the Ocean Breeze Complex in Staten Island, N.Y. She finished as the runner-up in the mile run with a time of 4:57.19, taking nearly ten seconds off of her previous career best in the event. Danoski's time is just the third in school history under five minutes in the mile run. Approximately two and a half hours after her school record in the mile, Danoski broke her own school record in the 800-meter run and finished fourth with a time of 2:14.00, knocking 0.13 seconds off of her previous best in the event.
     
  • Women's Field Athlete of the Week - Amanda Crooks, Moravian
    February 10, 2020
    (Sophomore, Whitehall, Pa.) Moravian College sophomore Amanda Crooks was also the runner-up in the high jump at the Alvernia University PLEX Shootout, clearing 1.52 meters (4-11.75) in her first collegiate meet at the event. On the track, Crooks won the 60-meter dash in a school record time of 7.82 seconds, taking one hundredth of a second off of her mark set back in December.
     
  • Men's Track Athlete of the Week - Samuel Gerstenbacher, Elizabethtown
    February 03, 2020
    (Senior, Pittsgrove, N.J.) Elizabethtown senior Samuel Gerstenbacher placed third in the mile on Friday at the NYC Division III Invitational held at The Armory. Gerstenbacher's time was 4:17.40, which was a two second PR and moved him from ninth to fifth on the program's all-time list.
     
  • Men's Field Athlete of the Week - Isaiah Blatt, Susquehanna
    February 03, 2020
    (Freshman, Shoemakersville, Pa.) Susquehanna freshman Isaiah Blatt took second in the pole vault with a personal record and conference-leading mark of 4.20m. Blatt came second to a Division I competitor from St. Francis (Pa.), who posted 4.35m.
     
  • Women's Track Athlete of the Week - Carly Danoski, Moravian
    February 03, 2020
    (Senior, Clarks Summit, Pa.) Moravian senior Carly Danoski won the 800-meter run at the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational in a time of 2:15.53, qualifying for the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championships in March. Danoski's time is her fastest of the season in the race. Danoski finished the meet by running the anchor leg of Moravian's 4x400-meter relay to help the squad finish fifth in 4:18.12.
     
  • Men's Track Athlete of the Week - Greg Jaindl, Moravian
    January 27, 2020
    (Senior, Macungie, Pa.) Moravian College senior Greg Jaindl placed third in the 5,000-meter run at the Conference Challenge Cup at Nazareth (N.Y.) College with a PR time of 15:02.22, which is the fifth fastest time in school history, and it qualified Jaindl for the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Championships in March while earning six points to help the Hounds finish 10th of 12 teams. His time in the 5,000m is the fastest in the Landmark this season.
     
  • Men's Field Athlete of the Week - Chris Petraskie, Susquehanna
    January 27, 2020
    (Senior, Shamokin, Pa.) Susquehanna senior Chris Petraskie led the River Hawks with a pair of Top-5 finishes. Petraskie claimed a third-place finish in the high jump with an AARFTC qualifying mark of 1.89m (6'2.25") while coming in fourth in the long jump with 6.47m (21'2.75"). He was part of the 4x400m relay which recorded an eighth-place finish with a Landmark-best time of 3:30.33. As a team, Susquehanna posted nine Top-10 finishes to place ninth in the 12-team field with 23.5 points.
     
  • Women's Track Athlete of the Week - Jessica Hoffmann, Scranton
    January 27, 2020
    (Sophomore, Millington, N.J.) University of Scranton sophomore Jessica Hoffmann captured the 3,000 meter run with a time of 10:48.28 at Saturday's Collegeville Classic hosted by Ursinus College. The time represents the second fastest time in program history and in the Landmark this season.
     
  • Women's Field Athlete of the Week - Sara Arbogast, Susquehanna
    January 27, 2020
    (Junior, Selinsgrove, Pa.) Susquehanna University junior Sara Arbogast picked up an AARFTC-qualifying mark in the triple jump as she finished third with 10.77m (35'4"). She claimed a ninth-place finish in the long jump as well with 5.02m (16'5.75"). Arbogast was part of the 4x400m relay which finished fifth with a Landmark-leading time of 4:16.67. Susquehanna posted five Top-10 finishes to come in 10th in the 12-team field with 17 points.
     
  • Men's Track Athlete of the Week - Greg Jaindl, Moravian
    January 20, 2020
    (Senior, Macungie, Pa.) Moravian College senior Greg Jaindl captured first in the mile run with a time of 4:21.52 at the Moravian Indoor Meet at Lehigh University's Rauch Field House to lead the Greyhounds. Jaindl's win was one of seven Top 5 finishes and his time in the mile is the fastest in the Landmark this season.
     
  • Men's Field Athlete of the Week - CeeJa Beckett, Catholic
    January 20, 2020
    (Junior, Fredericksburg, Va.) Catholic University junior CeeJa Beckett began the day by breaking the school record in the long jump set in 2017 of 6.43m by placing sixth at 6.51m. Beckett also came in 10th out of 21 runners for the 60m dash with a time of 7.27.
     
  • Women's Track Athlete of the Week - Carly Danoski, Moravian
    January 20, 2020
    (Senior, Clarks Summit, Pa.) Moravian College senior Carly Danoski won the mile run at the Moravian Indoor Meet at Lehigh University's Rauch Field House for the Greyhounds with a PR time of 5:06.95, the seventh fastest time in school history. Danoski also ran the third leg of Moravian's 4x400-meter relay squad that finished second with a time of 4:17.72.
     
  • Women's Field Athlete of the Week - Natalie Nye, Elizabethtown
    January 20, 2020
    (Senior, Shippensburg, Pa.) Elizabethtown senior Natalie Nye won the pole vault at the Orange & Maroon Classic on Saturday. Nye's winning height was 3.05m, the only athlete to surpass 3.00m in the event.
     
  • Men's Track Athlete of the Week - Michael Trought, Scranton
    December 09, 2019
    (Freshman) Scranton freshman Michael Trought broke two program records on Saturday in the 60 and 400 meter dash. His time of 53.471 seconds in the 400 meter dash broke the previous record of 56.17 seconds and his 7.21 seconds in the 60 meter dash bested the program mark of 7.27 seconds.
     
  • Men's Field Athlete of the Week - Chris Petraskie, Susquehanna
    December 09, 2019
    (Senior, Shamokin, Pa.) Susquehanna senior Chris Petraskie earned two top-three finishes at the River Hawk season opener. Petraskie won the long jump with his leap of 6.86 meters and placed second in the high jump (1.93 meters). He was also a member of the second-place Distance Medley Relay team, crossing the finish line with a time of 3:52.45.
     
  • Women's Track Athlete of the Week - Amanda Crooks, Moravian
    December 09, 2019
    (Sophomore, Whitehall, Pa.) Moravian sophomore Amanda Crooks led the Greyhounds at the season-opening, non-scoring Lehigh University Fast Times Before Finals with a second place finish in the 60-meter dash in a school record time of 7.83 seconds in the finals, and she also placed seventh in the 200-meter dash in 27.11 seconds.
     
  • Women's Field Athlete of the Week - Sara Arbogast, Susquehanna
    July 01, 2019
    (Junior, Selinsgrove, Pa.) Susquehanna junior Sara Arbogast had two individual wins and was a member of a winning relay at the River Hawk season opener. Arbogast won the long jump with her leap of 5.36 meters and triple jump with a mark of 11.62 meters. She set a new school record in both events and helped the Distance Medley Relay team to a new school record (4:26.39).
