  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Emma Angle, Moravian
    April 29, 2019
    (So., - Cherryville, Pa.) Moravian sophomore Emma Angle helped the Greyhounds to a 3-0 week as the squad finished a perfect Landmark Conference regular season and improved to 17-0 be extending the squad's winning streak to 12. Angle was 3-0 at first singles during the week, and she combined with junior Eiman Nazif for three victories at first doubles.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Ashlynn Searer, Susquehanna
    April 22, 2019
    (Fr., - Hummelstown, Pa.) Susquehanna freshman Ashlynn Searer did not drop a single game in helping Susquehanna to a shutout win over Penn College. She defeated her singles opponent 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles and then blanked her No. 1 doubles foe 8-0 with partner Holly Young.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Anais Gill, Goucher
    April 15, 2019
    (Fr., - Cambridge, England) Goucher freshman Anais Gill helped the Gophers to a 2-0 week and clinch a spot in the Landmark Conference Championship after going 2-0 at No. 1 singles and 2-0 at No. 1 doubles. The freshman won at No. 1 singles against Catholic 6-1, 6-1 and teamed up with Mandile Mpofu at No. 1 doubles to earn an 8-5 win. The duo then took care of business at No. 1 doubles on senior day 8-5 and then Gill gutted out a 6-1, 0-6, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles to help clinch a postseason berth for Goucher for first time since 2013.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Ashley Camel, Drew
    April 08, 2019
    (Jr., - Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) Drew junior Ashley Camel posted a perfect 4-0 week, winning twice apiece at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles. She helped the Rangers pick up Landmark Conference victories over Juniata and Susquehanna.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Nastashia DeNunzio, Scranton
    April 01, 2019
    (Jr., - Dunmore, Pa.) Scranton junior Nastashia DeNunzio led the Royals on the weekend, as they opened Landmark Conference play for the year with a pair of road victories at Catholic and Goucher. She won four matches overall at the top spot in both singles and doubles, including two wins against Catholic that put Scranton over the top in a 5-4 victory.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Emma Angle, Moravian
    March 25, 2019
    (So., - Cherryville, Pa.) Moravian sophomore Emma Angle helped the Greyhounds open the 2019 Landmark Conference season with a 6-3 victory over Elizabethtown College. Angle combined with junior Eiman Nazif for an 8-7 (8-6) win at first doubles for the Greyhounds' only point in doubles action. She then won in straight sets at first singles to earn the first of five singles wins by Moravian to take the match.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Ashlynn Searer, Susquehanna
    March 18, 2019
    (So., - Bethlehem, Pa.) Susquehanna freshman Ashlynn Searer posted a 2-1 week at No. 1 singles as Susquehanna went 1-2 in Florida. She also picked up an 8-1 victory at No. 1 doubles with partner Haley White.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Brooke Adams, Moravian
    March 11, 2019
    (So., - Bethlehem, Pa.) Moravian sophomore Brooke Adams had a combined 4-0 week in singles and doubles as the Greyhounds completed their trip to the Spring TennisFest in Hilton Head, South Carolina with a 1-1 mark in the two matches. Adams won twice in straight sets at fourth singles, and she combined with fellow sophomore Emma Angle for a pair of victories at second doubles.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Cristina Riccio, Drew
    March 04, 2019
    (Jr., - New Providence, N.J.) Drew junior Cristina Riccio captured victories at both No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles as Drew opened its Spring Break trip to Hilton Head with a win over Lebanon Valley.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Nastashia DeNunzio, Scranton
    February 25, 2019
    (Jr., - Dunmore, Pa.) Junior Nastashia DeNunzio helped Scranton improve to 4-0 in dual matches for the year after winning at the top spot in doubles and singles against Messiah, helping the Royals take a 9-0 shutout win in their spring opener.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Nastashia DeNunzio, Scranton
    October 15, 2018
    (Jr., - Dunmore, Pa.) University of Scranton junior Nastashia DeNunzio led Scranton to an 8-1 victory over Lebanon Valley on Friday in the Royals' final match of the fall schedule by winning at both singles and doubles. The junior teamed with classmate Emily Kelly for an 8-1 win at no. 2 doubles before posting a 6-2, 6-2 victory at no. 1 singles against the Flying Dutchmen.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Ashley Camel, Drew
    October 08, 2018
    (Jr, - Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) Drew University junior Ashley Camel finished a combined 6-2 and won a pair of tournament titles for the Rangers. She went undefeated (6-0) at the New Jersey Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (NJAIAW) Tournament, taking home both the Singles A and Doubles A titles in an event featuring Ramapo and William Paterson. Camel finished 3-0 in both singles and doubles at the tournament, winning 8-3 in the singles final and 8-4 in the doubles final.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Anais Gill, Goucher
    October 01, 2018
    (So., - Cherryville, Pa.) Goucher College sophmore Anais Gill played in the number one flight in singles at the Goucher College Invitational over the weekend and won three matches (all in straight sets) to capture the flight victory. She is already 5-0 in her short career at Goucher, winning each of her matches in straight sets.

    (So., - Cherryville, Pa.) Moravian College sophomore Emma Angle had a perfect week in singles and doubles action as the Greyhounds posted a pair of 9-0 wins. She dropped just two points in a pair of victories at second singles and she combined with junior Eiman Nazif for two wins at first doubles, dropping just one game.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Lenea Riehl, Elizabethtown
    September 17, 2018
    (Jr., - Gap, Pa.) Elizabethtown junior Lenea Riehl opened the fall season with an unbeaten 4-0 weekend as the Blue Jays swept home matches with Lycoming and Penn State Harrisburg. Riehl played No. 1 singles and doubles for E-town, and in Saturday's 9-0 win over Lycoming, Riehl posted a 6-1, 6-1 straight set victory over Hannah Summerson in singles play. She teamed with newcomer Kailey Caroland to edge Summerson and Brittany Lenze in doubles, 9-8 (6). Riehl and Caroland earned a commanding 8-2 win in doubles on Sunday against Penn State Harrisburg. Riehl followed up the effort with a come-from-behind 5-7, 6-3, 10-6 win over Sydney Nye in singles.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Ashlynn Searer, Susquehanna

    (Fr., - Hummelstown, Pa.) Freshman Ashlynn Searer kicked off her rookie campaign with a bang. She won at No. 2 singles at the King's Tournament.
