  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Ashlynn Searer, Susquehanna
    April 26, 2021
    In a 1-1 for the River Hawks, junior Ashlynn Searer won both her No. 1 singles and split her No. 1 doubles matchers. Against Juniata, Searer blanked Jamie Mahigel 6-0, 6-0 and teamed up with Grace Tepes to win the doubles match 8-2. In her match against Drew, she defeated Sanne Bloemendaal 6-1, 6-3.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Emma Angle, Moravian
    April 19, 2021
    Moravian College senior Emma Angle helped the Greyhounds remain undefeated on the year with a pair of 9-0 victories in Landmark Conference action. She won a pair of straight sets matches at first singles, and Angle teamed with twin sister Mary Angle for two wins at first doubles.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Marissa Campo, Scranton
    April 12, 2021
    University of Scranton senior Marissa Campo helped the Royals cruise to an 8-1 victory at Susquehanna on Saturday and improve to 2-0 on the season with a victory at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles. Campo won 6-2, 6-1 against Grace Tepes and defeated the River Hawks doubles team 8-1.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Abby Cassidy, Catholic
    April 05, 2021
    For the second-straight match, Catholic sophomore Abby Cassidy posted two wins as the Cardinals won their fourth-straight match with a 9-0 win over Juniata. She partnered with junior Brooke Simonson to post an 8-1 victory at No. 1 doubles over Jamie Mahigel and Emma Kramer. Cassidy also picked up a 6-1, 6-1 triumph over Kramer at No. 4 singles to earn Catholic's fourth point and set-up match point.
     
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Lenea Riehl, Elizabethtown
    March 29, 2021
    Elizabethtown senior Leana Riehl and junior Kailey Caroland combined to score all three points for the Blue Jays against the Royal. Riehl defeated Tatiana Klacko at #1 singles, earning the straight-set victory, 6-4, 6-1. Caroland followed up with a straight set victory of her own at #2 singles, topping Marissa Campo, 6-3, 6-0. The duo then teamed up at #1 doubles to beat Campo and Lily Nowak 8-6 finishing off the scoring for Etown.
