Connell led the Greyhounds to its second Landmark Championship this week with a .500 batting average including a .615 performance in the tournament. The junior outfielder went 3-for-4 in the tournament opener with four RBI. He was 1-for-4 at the plate with a RBI on Sunday and finished strong in the championship game hitting 4-for-5 with two RBI. |

Anthony Zaloga, Moravian (Fr., RHP, Tresckow, Pa.)
Zaloga helped lead Moravian into the Landmark Championship game with nine innings of work against Scranton on Sunday. The freshman pitched the complete game for the Greyhounds, scattering seven hits with six strikeouts while allowing just one run in the 8-1 victory. He saw 2.2 innings of relief earlier in the week and finished with a 2.31 earned run average. |

Eric Pizzico, Scranton (Jr., DH, Royersford, Pa.)
Pizzico had a big weekend, going 4-for-7 in three games as Scranton swept first-place Catholic to earn a spot in next week's conference playoffs. He scored a run in a 5-4 win in the opener on Saturday, then went 2-for-2 with three RBIs, a run, a stolen base and a walk in a 7-4 victory in the second game. On Sunday, he had a pair of two-out, two-run doubles and scored a run as the Royals won 10-5. |

Chris Soltys, Moravian (Jr., RHP, Fair Lawn, N.J.)
Soltys helped Moravian to a 3-3 record while appearing in half of the team's games during the week. He allowed just one unearned run in 8 1/3 innings. Soltys gave up seven hits and a walk while striking out three batters to go with a 1-1 record picking up a win over Drew. |

Mike McFarland, Catholic (So., C, Huntingtown, Md.)
McFarland helped lead Catholic to a three-game sweep of Susquehanna this weekend. He went 4-for-6 in the series with four RBIs and two runs scored. McFarland went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and a run in Saturday's first game, and then 2-for-3 with another RBI and run in the second game. McFarland posted a .571 batting average, on base percentage and slugging percentage for the week, and a 1.000 fielding percentage. |

Rock recorded two wins in a conference series against Scranton this weekend. He came on in relief in two games and tossed six innings of scoreless baseball. Earlier in the week he pitched two innings and recorded his second save of the season in a 7-5 win over William Paterson. |

Nick Clary, Catholic (So., 2B, Ocean Township, N.J.)
Clary led Catholic with a .600 batting average in a 3-1 week for the Cardinals. Clary totaled six hits as well as five runs, two RBI, a .900 slugging percentage and a .714 on base percentage. Clary went 1-for- 2 with three runs scored in a 15-11 comeback win at No. 25 Shenandoah on Wednesday to get his week started. In a three game series against Merchant Marine, he hit .625 at the plate with a homerun and two RBI. |

Thomas Mariano, Moravian (Jr., RHP, Hazleton, Pa.)
Mariano won two of Moravian's four victories in a 4-1 week for the Greyounds in his two starts. Mariano tossed a total of 12 innings with four runs, eight hits, three walks and six strikeouts during the week to go with a 3.00 ERA. He allowed just four hits and one run in his seven-inning stint on the mound in the Greyhounds' 2-1 victory over Scranton on Sunday. |

Mersky helped Juniata take the series from Drew as the team finished the week 3-2. Mersky hit .421 with a .526 slugging percentage behind two doubles. He added four RBI for the week including three against Drew. Mersky went 4-for-10 at the plate against the Rangers. |

Bobby Della Polla, Scranton (Sr., P, Havertown, Pa.)
Della Polla threw a two-hit shutout to lead the Royals to a 3-1 victory in the series opener against Susquehanna on Saturday. He allowed just two hits, both in the second inning, while walking five and striking out nine. Earlier in the week, he tossed six shutout innings, allowing three hits and a walk while striking out eight to earn the victory in a 3-1 win at Marywood. |

Warren Hartmann, Merchant Marine (Jr., 2B, Wyckoff, N.J.)
Hartmann hit .500 at the plate and registered six RBI as USMMA posted a 3-1 record this week. Hartmann ripped three doubles en route to a .714 slugging percentage. He also was a three-for three in steal attempts and eventually scored five runs overall. In the field, Hartmann recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage at second base with 10 assists, seven putouts, and was a part of three double plays. |

Mowatt went 1-0 in his only appearance this week, throwing a complete game, one-hitter to help lead Catholic to an 8-0 win over Juniata in game one of a doubleheader on Friday. The junior struck out two batters, did not walk anyone and did not allow any runs in the win. Juniata hit .045 off Mowatt during the game. |

Charlie Dillon, Catholic (Fr., IF, Chicago, Ill.)
Dillon batted .500 in a 4-1 week for Catholic. The freshman totaled seven hits in 14 at bats, with a triple, five RBI, three runs scored, a .643 slugging percentage and .533 on-base percentage. Dillon also recorded nine putouts and seven assists in the field. Dillon went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run in a win over Randolph-Macon on Thursday. He then went 1-for- 2 with a run in game one of a doubleheader against Drew on Saturday and 1-for-3 with a run in game two. On Sunday, Dillon recorded two more hits in four at bats, with two runs batted in, in an 8-1 win over Drew to complete the sweep. |

Gaeta batted .444 (4-for-9) in a doubleheader sweep over Juniata on Sunday. In the first game, he had a sacrifice fly and a RBI single to finish 1-for-4 with two RBI. Gaeta followed up by driving in a season-high five runs for the Royals in the second game. He went 3-for-5 at the plate with a double to help lift Scranton to 2-0 in the Landmark. |

Kalokitis helped Catholic go 4-1 this week by batting .471. In the five games, Kalokitis totaled eight hits, including four doubles and a home run, as well as nine runs batted in and eight runs scored. The senior slugged .882 and had an on base percentage of .545. Kalokitis went 3-for- 4 against York with three RBI and three runs scored, 3-for-5 against N.C. Wesleyan with three RBI and three runs scored, and 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored against Wilkes. Kalokitis also posted a 1.000 fielding percentage, with 24 putouts and two assists. |

He went 2-for-3 with a homer, two RBIs and a run in an 11-4 win over Albright in the opener on Saturday, and then added a double, an RBI and a run in a 5-4 loss in the second game. On Sunday, he went 3-for-3 with a run and an RBI in an 8-4 win over FDU-Florham in the opener, and then added two hits and an RBI in an 8-3 loss in the second game. |

Josh Bayzick, Scranton (So., P, Sugarloaf, Pa.)
Bayzick came into the first game of Sunday's doubleheader against FDU-Florham with the Royals leading by two in the fifth inning. He proceeded to allow just one run while striking out one in 2 1/3 innings to earn his first career save in an 8-4 victory. Bayzick got out of a bases loaded jam to preserve the lead, and then shut down the Devils in the final two innings. |

Marc Hanna, Catholic (Jr., 3B, Bloomfield, N.J.)
Marc Hanna led Catholic to a 3-0 opening week of 2013 by batting .500 with five hits in 10 at bats. Hanna also scored six runs, including the game-tying and winning runs in Sunday's 2-1 win over Eastern. Hanna went 3-for-4 with three runs scored in an 8-3 win over Muhlenberg in Sunday's first game, before totaling two hits in two at bats, as well as two more runs scored in the win over the Eagles. On Wednesday, Hanna had one hit, scored once and walked once in a 4-1 win at Mary Washington. Hanna also had eight assists in the infield this week. |

Solano earned a victory in Moravian's opening game of the 2013 season, defeating Rutgers-Camden at the Ty Cobb Classic hosted by Hampden-Sydney College. Solano went eight innings, allowing seven hits, three runs and a walk while striking out three batters. |
