One of just 25 teams that qualified for the prestigious event, the Rangers carded a 355 currently tied for 20th place.
"The team is so excited to be here among the elite teams in the country," said Drew Head Coach Maura Ballard. "They had a blast playing today and are setting their sights on dropping a few strokes in tomorrow's round!"
Leading the way for the Blue and Green was sophomore Lucy Lamb, who shot a 9-over 81, which included one birdie and eight pars. She is tied for 57th among 131 competitors.
Sophomore Kristine Masseria was the team's second finisher, parring six holes en route to an 86 – her third-lowest round of the season and the fourth-best round of her career. She is tied for 83rd place.
