    MADISON, N.J. – In a season full of accolades, Aidan Cserhat of the Drew University men's soccer team received perhaps the most significant one on Thursday night. He was named First Team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches, becoming just the second player in program history to earn that distinction, joining Peter Boyer (2003).

    MEDFORD, Mass. – The Drew University men's soccer team (21-1-1) saw its incredible 2017 season come to an end on Saturday with a 1-0 loss to Brandeis (16-4-0) in the third round of the NCAA Tournament at Tufts University's Bello Field. The loss, the Rangers' only defeat of the year, snapped Drew's 18-game winning streak, which had been the longest in the nation.

  • Drew Reaches NCAA Round of 16 With 1-0 Win at Lycoming

    WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – On Sunday afternoon, the Drew University men's soccer team (21-0-1) notched a 1-0 victory over Lycoming (19-3-0) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at the Shangraw Athletic Complex. Benjamin Audi scored the only goal of the game in the 75th minute, as the Rangers recorded their 18th consecutive victory to tie the single-season program record for wins and advance to the round of 16 next weekend.
  • Drew Men's Soccer Advance to Second Round of NCAA Tournament

    WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Drew University men's soccer team faced its toughest challenge of the season on Saturday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. And, just like they have all season, the Rangers answered the call. After twice falling behind, Drew (20-0-1) rallied to tie it each time before Nate Race (Bridgewater, N.J.) netted the game-winner in the 59th minute of a 3-2 victory over Franklin & Marshall (11-6-2) at Lycoming College's Shangraw Athletic Complex.

    TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark Conference has named 47 student-athletes to the All-Sportsmanship Team. The All-Sportsmanship Team includes one student-athlete from each institution for each sport and is selected by the players and coaches from their respective team.

    TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark announced its 2017 Fall Academic Honor Roll selections today, with 365 student-athletes receiving recognition. The Honor Roll recognizes all fall student athletes who have reached sophomore standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.

    TOWSON, Md. – The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) recently announced the 2017-18 Academic All-District Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams. Six Landmark student-athletes were honored by the organization, including Matthew Holtschneider (Catholic), Brian Galfond (Catholic), Connor Casey (Scranton), Elizabeth Johnson (Catholic), Lauren Bertucci (Moravian), and Rebecca Russo (Scranton).
  • Landmark Releases Men's Soccer All-Conference Teams

    TOWSON, Md. – It was a clean sweep for Drew’s men’s soccer team as the Rangers took home the four individual awards, and for the first time in conference men’s soccer history, a pair of brothers were honored. Sophomore Aidan Cserhat was named the Offensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year, while teammate and older brother Niko Cserhat was chosen as the Defensive Player of the Year. Drew Head Coach Lenny Armuth and his staff were honored with the Coaching Staff of the Year.

    MADISON, N.J. – The Landmark Conference champion Drew University men's soccer team found out its NCAA Tournament opponent and destination on Monday. The Rangers (19-0-1) will head to Williamsport, Pa., for a first-round matchup with Centennial Conference champion Franklin & Marshall (11-5-2) at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The winner will then take on Lehman (13-4-1) or host Lycoming (18-2-0) in the second round at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

    MADISON, N.J. – For the first time since 2008, the Drew University men’s soccer team is headed to the NCAA Tournament. The 10th-ranked and top-seeded Rangers (19-0-1) secured the second Landmark Conference title in program history with a 3-1 win over Elizabethtown (10-7-2), the No. 2 seed, in the championship game of the Landmark Conference Tournament at Ranger Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Aidan Cserhat (Taos, N.M.) scored Drew’s first two goals to earn tournament MVP honors.

    MADISON, N.J. – The 10th-ranked Drew University men's soccer team earned its 15th consecutive win on Tuesday night. And this one was the most important so far. The top-seeded Rangers (18-0-1) notched a 4-0 victory over fourth-seeded Susquehanna (6-10-2) in the semifinals of the Landmark Conference tournament at a packed Ranger Stadium. With the victory, Drew moved into its first Landmark Championship Game since 2007.

    ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- Ninety minutes of regulation wasn't enough to decide the outcome. Neither were two 10-minute golden goal overtime periods. Second-seeded Elizabethtown buried three penalty kicks, however, and goalkeeper Brian Gately came up with three massive saves to send the Blue Jays to the Landmark Conference championship game, 3-2 in PKs, after a 0-0 draw against Catholic in Tuesday night's semifinal at Ira R. Herr Field.
