    It was a happy holiday season for Chelsea Paskman, a senior on The University of Scranton women’s soccer team. She was named third-team all-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), becoming only the third player in University of Scranton women’s soccer history to garner all-America honors more than once.
  • Landmark Women's Soccer Earns Six All-Region Nods

    A strong year for the Landmark women's soccer teams has helped the conference place six players on the 2010 National Soccer Coaches Association/Subaru Performance All-Mid Atlantic Region Women's Soccer Team. The six All-Region choices ties for the most the Landmark has earned in its first four seasons.

    The Landmark Conference has selected six athletes as Landmark Senior Scholar Athletes for their respective fall sports. A committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors and sports information directors selected the recipients, choosing one senior from each of the fall sports sponsored by the conference.

    The Rangers defeated SUNY-Brockport, 1-0, this afternoon to capture their first ever ECAC Championship. Drew tallied their 15th win of the season, marking the most wins in a season by any other team in program history.

    Senior midfielder Chelsea Paskman (Chalfont, Pa./Central Bucks South) scored a goal less than four minutes into the first half and the defense did the rest as The University of Scranton defeated Plattsburgh State University, 1-0, in an NCAA first-round match Saturday afternoon at Cozzens Field on the campus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

With Landmark Champions earning automatic bids the champions in field hockey, men’s soccer, women’s soccer and volleyball all earned bids, while one other Landmark team was selected to the field as an at-large participant.
