  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Emily Sullivan, Susquehanna
    October 29, 2018
    (Sr., F - Ambler, Pa.) Susquehanna University senior Emily Sullivan secured the No. 2 seed for the River Hawks in the upcoming Landmark Women's Soccer Championship, scoring the lone goal in the 1-0 win against Drew. SU will host No. 4 Moravian on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Abby Kopytko, Elizabethtown
    April 29, 2019
    (Sr, G - Newtown, Pa.) In her final appearance in goal for Elizabethtown, senior Abby Kopytko went out with a 10-8 win at Susquehanna on Saturday. Kopytko made five saves in the win.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Madison Welliver, Susquehanna
    October 29, 2018
    (So., GK - Turbotville, Pa.) Susquehanna University sophomore Madison Welliver posted one of the most important shutouts of her career on Saturday. Welliver stopped two shots on goal to help the River Hawks to the 1-0 win, which secured the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Landmark Women's Soccer Championship.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Corinne McDonald, Scranton

    (So., F - Chalfont, Pa.) University of Scranton's Corinne McDonald's goal in the 70th minute was all Scranton needed to secure the top seed in the Landmark Conference playoffs with a 1-0 win at Susquehanna on Saturday. With the teams locked in a scoreless draw, McDonald scored her fourth goal of the season off an assist from freshman back Hope Drewes to break the deadlock and ensure that the Royals won't have to leave Weiss Field to capture the Landmark Conference title. The win pushed Scranton's winning streak to 22 straight against Landmark foes.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Colleen Berry, Scranton

    (Sr., GK - Ridgewood, N.J.) University of Scranton senior Colleen Berry made four saves in a 1-0 victory at Susquehanna that secured the top seed in the upcoming playoffs for the Royals. She had two stops in each half as Scranton shut down the River Hawks. It was Berry's seventh shutout of the season and 20th of her career. Earlier in the week, she made seven saves -- one short of equaling her season high -- in a 1-1 draw at Haverford. She has allowed just four goals all season, including zero in Landmark Conference play, for a 0.31 goals-against average.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Anna Werner, Susquehanna
    October 15, 2018
    (Fr., F - Mohnton, Pa.) Susquehanna University freshman Anna Wener scored three goals on the week including the only goal against Juniata in a 1-0 win on Wednesday. Scored her second goal just over two minutes into the game against Goucher in which she out ran both her defender and the goalkeeper to get the ball in the back of the net and then scored her third goal early in the second half. Werner scored three of the teams five goals in the 2-0 week.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Colleen Berry, Scranton

    (Sr., GK - Ridgewood, N.J.) University of Scranton senior Colleen Berry did not allow a goal in 156 minutes as the Royals pushed their shutout streak to seven with a pair of Landmark victories. On Wednesday, she did not face a shot in the opening 66 minutes of a 6-0 win over Drew. Three days later, she had one of her best games of the season, making four saves, two of them rather impressive, in a 3-0 win over Elizabethtown. Three of her saves came in the first half with the Royals holding a 1-0 lead, including a diving stop in the 34th minute on a shot that appeared ticketed for the upper right corner.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Erin Toburen, Scranton

    (So., M - Harleysville, Pa.) University of Scranton sophomore Erin Toburen moved up to attacking mid in the second half against Penn State-Harrisburg and delivered a pair of goals after the break in a 3-0 win on Wednesday at Weiss Field. She scored in the 76th and 78th minutes, marking the second time she has scored twice in a match this season. Three days later, her play in the midfield helped Scranton control the action for the majority of the afternoon in a 2-0 win at Moravian that kept Scranton unbeaten and pushed their Landmark Conference winning streak to 19, including playoffs.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Christina Charikofsky, Goucher

    (So., GK - Eldersburg, Md.) Goucher College sophomore Christina Charikofsky continues her outstanding play in net for the Gophers, as she made 13 saves and didn't allow a goal in 200 minutes of action over the last week. She kept Juniata off the board in a 0-0 double overtime draw on Saturday, matching a season-high with eight saves.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Lydia Lawson, Elizabethtown
    October 01, 2018
    (Jr, F - Mountain Top, Pa.) Elizabethtown forward Lydia Lawson took over the Landmark goal-scoring and points lead this past week with four goals in two games. She recorded a hat trick, with all three goals in an 11-minute span, in Saturday's conference win over Juniata. They were her seventh, eighth, and ninth tallies of the season. She also added an away goal at York (Pa.) last Wednesday.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Madison Welliver, Susquehanna

    (So., GK - Turbotville, Pa.) Susquehanna University sophomore Madison Welliver held the back line in six consecutive shutouts which is a school record. She has gone 585 minutes without relinquishing a goal, which included two shutouts this week. She has helped the River Hawks to a school record seven wins in a row, with only one goal surrendered.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Gabby Stelzmiller, Moravian
    September 24, 2018
    (Sr., F - Flemington, N.J.) Moravian College senior Gabby Stelzmiller helped Moravian to a 2-0 record last week by scoring two goals and two assists. After being held without a shot in a 1-0 win at Albright College, Stelzmiller opened the 2018 Landmark Conference season with two goals and two assists in a 6-1 win at Juniata College. With the Hounds leading 1-0, Stelzmiller figured in four straight goals with an assist, two goals including one on a penalty kick, and then another assist as the lead expanded to 5-0.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Rebecca Russo, Scranton
    September 24, 2018
    (Jr., D - South Windsor, Conn.) Scranton junior Rebecca Russo continued her strong play at both ends of the field while helping the Royals stay unbeaten by going 2-0 during the week. On Tuesday night, she scored in the 55th minute to help Scranton post a 2-1 win over NYU at Weiss Field. It was the third straight match she scored in despite playing center back. On Saturday, she anchored that back line that shut out Catholic as Scranton opened conference play with a 1-0 win on the road. The Royals allowed just five shots in the contest, only one of which was on goal.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Megan Chesney, Moravian
    September 17, 2018
    (Fr., F - Oakland, N.J.) Moravian College freshman Megan Chesney helped the Greyhounds to a 2-0 record last week by scoring three goals and adding an assist. Chesney had a goal in Moravian's 2-0 win at rival Muhlenberg College before netting two goals in the fourth minute of an 8-0 win over Keystone College. Chesney also had assist versus the Giants while taking eight shots in the contest with six on goal and one hitting the cross bar.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Sarah Burcaw, Drew

    (Jr, D - Nazareth, Pa.) Drew junior Sarah Burcaw played a key role for a defense that allowed just three shots and no goals in a 2-0 week for the Rangers, who blanked Old Westbury 5-0 and Delaware Valley 4-0.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Elizabeth Johnson, Catholic
    September 10, 2018
    (Jr., F - York, Pa.) Catholic University junior Elizabeth Johnson extended her scoring streak, scoring three goals while adding two assists over the weekend. Johnson earned six points in the 6-3 win over Hood (two goals, two assists), and scored the game-winning goal in the 2-1 victory against Berry.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Madison Dudziec, Drew

    (So, Stanhope, N.J., GK) Drew sophomore Madison Dudziec notched a pair of shutouts while allowing just one goal over 290 minutes in a 2-0-1 week for the Rangers. She opened with three saves in a 1-0 win at Manhattanville, then followed up with a season-high six saves in a 1-0 victory over Coast Guard. Dudziec ended the week with a 0.33 goals-against average and a .900 save percentage.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Elizabeth Johnson, Catholic

    (Jr., F - York, Pa.) Catholic University Elizabeth Johnson scored twice and assisted three times in two matches this week, leading Catholic to two shutout wins.In the 5-0 win against DeSales, the junior earned six points (2 goals, 2 assists) and was 1-1 on penalty kicks.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Nina Fernandez, Catholic

    (So., GK - Miami, Fla.) Catholic University sophomore Nina Fernandez earned two clean sheet wins this week, making 10 saves total. In the 2-0 shutout against York, Fernandez made four saves and followed up that performance with six saves in the 5-0 win against DeSales.
