
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches (USC) association announced on Tuesday the members of the All-Region Teams, with the Landmark Conference placing seven players among the ranks.
Elizabethtown College's Lydia Lawson was named to the first team as a forward. Lawson earned Offensive Player of the Tear honors within the Landmark for the third straight year. The senior finished her final season on a high note, scoring a league-leading 22 goals and 49 points, and set multiple Landmark records. Lawson finishes her impressive career as the Landmark career record holder in goals (62) and points (137). She is also the season record holder in conference matches with 11 goals and 24 points.
University of Scranton's Rebecca Russo and Susquehanna University's Marley Clendenin were named to the USC All-Region Second Team, both as defenders. Russo and Clendenin were recognized in the Landmark postseason awards lineup, earning a spot on the first team. Russo was selected for the third time in her career while Clendenin was named to the team for the second time.
A pair of River Hawks earned third team honors. Madison Welliver was named as a goalkeeper while Anna Werner was named to the team as a forward. Joining the duo were Paige Weiss of Moravian College and Maggie Moorcones from Catholic University. Weiss earned a spot as a defender, while Werner made the team as a forward.
