DELEWARE, Pa. - The Catholic University women's golf program finished its fall campaign in style by winning the Landmark Conference Women's Golf Preview, held at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
The Cardinals shot a two-day total of 648 (327-321) to win the preview by an impressive 82 strokes over second place The University of Scranton.
Individually, freshman Gabrielle Courtney of Catholic earned her first medalist honors. She shot a two-day total of 159 (81-78).
The Cardinals occupied the top five spots on the leaderboard. Junior Lauren Lombardo finished in second with a score of 162 (83-79), while junior Avery Mrak shot a 163 (83-80) to place third.
Sophomore Lauren Wright placed fourth with a 167 (80-87) and sophomore Brooke Smith (87-84) finished out the scoring for the Cardinals by shooting a 171 to place fifth.

Moravian University sent three individuals to represent the team.
The 2024 Landmark Women's Golf Championship will be held from Saturday, April 27 to Sunday, April 28 at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
