Beckett Tabbed Women's Lacrosse Senior Scholar Athlete

TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark Conference selects 22 senior scholar-athletes each year to recognize the top student-athlete in each sport based on academics and athletics.

The honorees must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 and are selected by a committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors, senior woman administrators, faculty athletic representatives, and sports information directors.


Caroline Beckett of Catholic University was named the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Senior Scholar-Athlete. She is the third straight Cardinal to earn women's lacrosse Senior Scholar-Athlete honors, and fifth overall.

The 2023 conference Offensive Player of the Year, Beckett is a two-time All-Conference First Team selection as an attacker and leaves Catholic as the program's single-season leader in assists with 39. She additionally ranks in the top-10 all-time in Landmark history in assists with 110.

Beckett was also part of two conference championship teams (2021 and 2022). Earlier this month, Beckett was named to the IWLCA All-Chesapeake Region V Second Team for the second time in her career.

In the classroom, Beckett, a business administration major, graduated from Catholic with a 3.81 grade point average.

She was named to the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll all three years she was eligible, and won the Busch School of Business Annual Sales Competition. She also served as the ICSC National Sales Competition representative for Catholic.

All-Time Senior Scholar-Athletes
