TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark Conference announced its 2025 Men's Cross Country All-Conference teams, recognizing the top performers from Saturday's championship meet. The conference honors the top seven finishers with First Team All-Conference accolades, the next seven with Second Team honors, and the following five as Honorable Mention selections.
In addition to the all-conference teams, the league also announced its major award winners. The Performer of the Year is awarded to the individual champion, the Rookie of the Year goes to the top first-year collegiate runner, and the Coaching Staff of the Year is selected by the league's head coaches following the race.
Performer of the Year: Derick Blair (Susquehanna University)
Rookie of the Year: Michael Brunet (Catholic University)
Coaching Staff of the Year: Moravian University
Susquehanna University's Derick Blair was named the Landmark Performer of the Year and First Team All-Conference after an exceptional showing at the championship meet. The sophomore delivered a personal-best time of 24:28.85, the fastest mark in the conference this season and the second-fastest time in Landmark history. Blair became Susquehanna's first Performer of the Year since 2011, and just the fifth River Hawk ever to claim the honor.
Catholic University's Michael Brunet was recognized as the Landmark Rookie of the Year after a standout first season with the Cardinals. Brunet placed 10th overall at the championship meet with a time of 25:30.52, earning Second Team All-Conference honors. He becomes Catholic's first Rookie of the Year since 2012 and just the second in program history to claim the award.
The Moravian University coaching staff, led by Director of Men's and Women's Track & Field and Cross Country Jesse Baumann and assisted by Jon D'Ottavio and Natalie Stabilito, was voted the Landmark Men's Cross Country Coaching Staff of the Year. The honor marks the seventh time the Greyhounds have earned the award and their fifth consecutive recognition. Baumann and his staff guided Moravian to its fifth straight Landmark title and a league-leading seventh overall.
