Landmark Announces Women's Basketball All-Conference

TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark Conference has announced its 2024-25 Women’s Basketball All-Conference selections. Highlighting this year’s honors are The University of Scranton’s Kaci Kranson, who was named Player of the Year, Catholic University's Anna Scoblick, the Defensive Player of the Year, and Goucher College's Meona Boykin, who earned Rookie of the Year recognition. Elizabethtown College’s coaching staff, led by head coach Veronica Nolt, was named Coaching Staff of the Year.

Selections are nominated and voted on by the league's 10 head coaches.

Player of the Year: Kaci Kranson (University of Scranton)
Defensive Player of the Year: Anna Scoblick (Catholic University)
Rookie of the Year: Meona Boykin (Goucher College)
Coaching Staff of the Year: Elizabethtown College

Kaci Kranson continues to add to Scranton's storied tradition, becoming the 11th Lady Royal—and seventh in the last decade—to be named Landmark Conference Player of the Year. The junior standout led Scranton to a dominant 26-1 overall record and a 17-1 mark in conference play, helping secure the program's 10th consecutive Landmark title. A three-time First Team All-Landmark selection, Kranson leads the team in scoring with 17.3 points per game while also contributing 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.1 assists per contest.

The 2024 Player of the Year, Anna Scoblick adds another accolade to an already impressive resume. She becomes the third Cardinal to earn the Defensive Player of the Year award and the first since Amanda Johnson in 2022. A force on both ends of the floor, Scoblick anchors a Catholic defense that ranks second in the conference, allowing just 55.7 points per game. She leads the team with 30 blocks (1.1 per game) and has racked up 52 steals (1.9 per game). In addition to her defensive play, the junior earned First Team All-Conference honors for the second straight season.

Meona Boykin made an immediate impact in her first season with Goucher, quickly establishing herself as one of the league's top talents. Playing in 24 games with 14 starts, Boykin led the conference in scoring with 17.5 points per game while shooting 41.5% from the field. She also topped the league in steals with 100 (4.2 per game) and contributed 150 rebounds (6.3 per game) along with 33 assists (1.4 per game). The lone first-year player on the All-Conference team, Boykin becomes just the second Goucher player to earn Rookie of the Year honors, joining Anise Williams (2019).

Under the leadership of head coach Veronica Nolt, the Elizabethtown College coaching staff earned its third Landmark Conference Coaching Staff of the Year award. The Blue Jays, ranked 18th nationally, secured an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament after an impressive 22-4 season, highlighted by victories over nationally ranked opponents Catholic University and the University of Scranton. Additionally, Elizabethtown's 16 Landmark Conference wins this season mark the most since joining the league in 2014-15.
