Block shares the honor with Elms College's Jackie Cronin. Block led the Warriors with six goals, reaching 150 in her career with her fifth, and an assist, adding eight draw controls and two caused turnovers, in the win over Maritime, helping the Warriors improve to 4-2 this season. Down 10-4 midway through the second quarter, Block kickstarted the Warriors with a pair of goals, the last coming right before halftime to cut the deficit to four goals. She added a third-quarter goal to make it a two-goal game and then got the ball with seven seconds left in a tie game, dodged to her left, and got a shot off for the game-winner with 1.5 seconds left. Block is the second Warrior to win the IWLCA Player of the Week award, joining Kelly McGinniss '19, who earned the honor on March 14, 2018, in the award's inaugural year. The Warriors travel to Washington D.C. on Saturday, March 22, for a 1 p.m. Landmark Conference game against the Catholic University of America.
