TOWSON, Md. – Moravian University's Jackie Salvatore has been selected as the 2025 Landmark Conference Women’s Lacrosse Senior Scholar-Athlete.
The Landmark Conference selects 23 senior scholar-athletes each year to recognize the top student-athletes in each sport based on academics and athletics.
The honorees must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 and are selected by a committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors, senior woman administrators, faculty athletic representatives, athletic communications, and diversity, ethnicity, and inclusion designees.
A public health major with a 3.92 grade point average, Salvatore has been a standout in every aspect of student-athlete life. She is a two-time College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honoree (2023, 2024), a three-time Landmark Spring Academic Honor Roll selection (2023–25), and a two-time member of the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll. She has appeared on Moravian’s Dean’s Honors List eight times and is a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society. On campus, Salvatore also serves as treasurer for the university’s Public Health Club.
Salvatore’s impact on the field has been just as impressive. A four-time All-Landmark Conference selection — including First Team honors in both 2024 and 2025 — she was named the Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Year in each of her final two seasons. She also earned the 2022 Landmark Rookie of the Year award and added national honors to her resume, including an All-Metro Region Second Team IWLCA All-America selection, and USA Lacrosse Preseason and Postseason All-American this Spring.
She finishes her career as the Landmark Conference’s all-time leader in both career points (379) and assists (201).
Salvatore becomes the first Greyhound to be named Landmark Conference Women’s Lacrosse Senior Scholar-Athlete and is Moravian’s second honoree of the 2024-25 academic year, joining Josh Mangini, who was recognized for men’s cross country.
