Softball 5/23/2025 2:00:00 PM Moravian's Sage Snyder Selected as 2025 Landmark Softball Senior Scholar-Athlete TOWSON, Md. – Sage Snyder of Moravian University has been selected as the 2025 Landmark Conference Softball Senior Scholar-Athlete. The Landmark Conference selects 23 senior scholar-athletes each year to recognize the top student-athletes in each sport based on academics and athletics. The honorees must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 and are selected by a committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors, senior woman administrators, faculty athletic representatives, athletic communications, and diversity, ethnicity, and inclusion designees. A health science major on the speech-language pathology track with a psychology minor, Snyder holds a 3.95 grade point average and will continue her studies at Moravian next year to pursue her master’s degree in speech-language pathology. She is an eight-time Dean’s Honors List honoree, a two-time College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selection, a three-time Landmark Spring Academic Honor Roll pick, and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society. On the diamond, Snyder has been a cornerstone of the Greyhounds’ success. A three-time Landmark All-Conference First Team honoree, she helped lead Moravian to three straight Landmark championships (2023, 2024, 2025) and three NCAA Division III Tournament appearances. In 2023, she was named the NCAA Super Regional Most Outstanding Player after guiding the Greyhounds through a memorable postseason run that included wins at Tufts and MIT, culminating in a trip to the national championship finals. She earned NFCA All-Region Third Team honors in 2024 and followed that up with NFCA Second Team recognition in 2025. Snyder and the Greyhounds are still writing their story this season. Moravian will host Randolph-Macon in the 2025 NCAA Super Regionals on May 23, with a spot in the NCAA Division III World Series on the line. Her leadership extended well beyond the field. She served as co-chair of Moravian’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), helping coordinate student-athlete involvement in campus initiatives and community outreach. She is the second consecutive Greyhound to earn Landmark Softball Senior Scholar-Athlete honors, following former teammate Madi Cunningham (2024). She is the sixth Moravian softball player to receive the distinction and the third Greyhound overall to be recognized as a Landmark Senior Scholar-Athlete during the 2024–25 academic year, joining Josh Mangini (Men’s Cross Country) and Jackie Salvatore (Women’s Lacrosse).
