The Basics Final Score: Scranton 82, Elizabethtown 42 Record: Scranton (27-0), Elizabethtown (20-8) Scranton secured its 11th straight Landmark Conference Championship and 14th overall. The 40-point win marked the largest margin of victory in a Landmark Conference Women's Basketball Championship. How It Happened The Lady Royals controlled the first half of the game by setting the tone with strong finishes from Katie Gorski and Kaci Kranson, while Elizabeth Bennett sparked the run with a layup and a deep three to stretch the lead. Sophia Talutto and Meghan Lamanna added key floaters, Bennett chipped in a rebound putback, and Kranson closed the quarter with another strong finish to make it 21-12. In the second quarter, Gorski controlled both ends with a block and multiple finishes in the paint. Talutto hit a three while Bennett recoded a block and another layup.
