Landmark Women’s Lacrosse Tournament Begins Saturday

TOWSON, Md. - With the regular season complete, the six-team field is set for the Landmark Conference Women’s Lacrosse Tournament. The top two seeds, University of Scranton and Catholic University, earned first-round byes and advance directly to next Wednesday’s semifinal round. The remaining four teams open postseason play on Saturday, April 25, with two semifinal spots up for grabs.

First Round Matchups - Saturday, April 25
No. 6 Elizabethtown College at No. 3 Moravian University
  • Moravian enters the tournament at 12-5 (7-2 Landmark), looking to carry regular-season momentum into the postseason. Kerry Seiler has been a key contributor throughout the season and could play a major role on Saturday, entering with 48 goals. The Greyhounds have made every postseason since 2018 and will host a playoff game for the second straight year.
     
  • Elizabethtown comes in as the sixth seed and will look to make an immediate impact with an overall record of 9-7 (4-5 Landmark). Led by Hailey Meyer, who has 47 goals and has started all 16 games, the Blue Jays will try to extend their season with an upset. This marks their second straight postseason appearance.

Previous Meeting: The two teams just met on April 22 to close the regular season, with Moravian earning a 16-7 win. They also met in the first round of the 2021 postseason, with Moravian winning 15-12.

First Round Matchups - Saturday, April 25
No. 5 Drew University at No. 4 Susquehanna University
  • Susquehanna finished the regular season at 9-8 (6-3 Landmark), relying on Abby Andrus, who has totaled 56 goals and 14 assists this spring. The River Hawks are making their fourth straight postseason appearance.
     
  • Drew closed the year at 10-6 (5-4 Landmark) after missing last year’s postseason. The Rangers were defeated by Juniata 17-11 in 2024 and now return to tournament play behind Aubrey Welch, a Second Team All-Landmark midfielder last season. 
Previous Meeting: April 11 - Susquehanna won 12-7. The programs also met in the 2021 first round, with Susquehanna winning 12-7.

Top Seeds
No. 1 University of Scranton
  • After a strong regular season and finishing 13-4 (9-0 Landmark), Scranton claimed the top seed and a semifinal bye. The Royals, the defending league champions, will face the winner of Drew and Susquehanna.

No. 2 Catholic University
  • Catholic secured the second seed after going 10-7 (8-1 Landmark), with its only conference loss coming against Scranton. The Cardinals will host the winner of Elizabethtown and Moravian in the semifinal round.
