TOWSON, Md. - Following another standout championship performance, Josephine Nguyen of Drew University has been named Women’s Golf Player of the Year, highlighting the 2026 All-Conference award winners. Joining Nguyen among the league’s top honors are Cailyn Schall of Susquehanna University as Rookie of the Year and the coaching staff of Catholic University as Coaching Staff of the Year.
The conference recognizes a First Team, Second Team, and Honorable Mention based on finishes at the championship.
Player of the Year: Josephine Nguyen (Drew University)
Rookie of the Year: Cailyn Schall (Susquehanna University)
Coaching Staff of the Year: Catholic University
Nguyen capped another dominant championship performance with her second straight Player of the Year honor, adding to an already decorated career that began with Rookie of the Year recognition in 2025. She earns another First Team All-Conference selection and earns Drew's fifth Player of the Year award, joining Marissa Broderick (2018), Lucy Lamb (2019), Kayla Diaz (2022), and now herself in back-to-back seasons. Nguyen also led Drew to a third-place finish, claiming individual medalist honors with a two-round total of 154 (+10) after rounds of 78-76.
Schall made an immediate impact in her debut season, earning First Team All-Conference honors as the only first-year selection on the top team and one of just three rookies across the entire all-conference teams. She becomes Susquehanna’s first Rookie of the Year in program history after finishing fifth overall at 166 (+22), posting rounds of 81-85. Her performance helped lift the River Hawks to their highest championship finish, placing second overall with a team score of 678 (342-336), the lowest 36-hole total in program history at the Landmark championship.
Led by Ed Dolan and assistant coach Lauren Lombardo, Catholic earns Coaching Staff of the Year honors for the fourth consecutive season after capturing its fourth straight conference championship and fifth title in the last six years. The Cardinals secured the team crown with a 666 (335-331), placing two golfers inside the top five and three within the top 12 to secure another dominant championship performance.
