Scranton Baseball Sets Sights on NCAA Tournament

TOWSON, Md. – The NCAA Division III Baseball Committee announced the field for the 2026 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship on Monday afternoon, and the University of Scranton earned a spot in the national tournament for the third time in program history.

The 64-team championship bracket was revealed during a selection show streamed live on NCAA.com. The tournament field features 41 automatic qualifiers and 23 at-large selections.

The Royals will compete in the regional hosted by Washington & Jefferson College and open tournament play against Bridgewater College on Friday, May 15 at 11:00 a.m.

Regional competition begins Friday, May 15, at sites across the country, while the championship rounds will culminate at Classic Auto Group Park in Eastlake, Ohio, with a national champion crowned on Thursday, June 4.
