Scranton Women's Lacrosse Earns Fourth Straight Landmark Title

SCRANTON, Pa. - The University of Scranton women's lacrosse team captured its fourth consecutive Landmark Conference Championship with a 16-11 win over Catholic University Saturday at Weiss Field.

With the victory, Scranton joins Catholic as the only program in Landmark women's lacrosse history to win four straight titles.

  • Scranton took the early 1-0 lead 1:37 into the game when Jillian Lopez found the back of the net.

  • Sophomore Natalie Paul responded quickly for Scranton as she finished a feed from Colleen Mullin to make it 2-1 Royals. Lopez added her second goal of the day 42 seconds later to extend the lead to 3-1.
