  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Joe Clark, Elizabethtown
    April 27, 2015
    (So., A, Hershey, Pa.) Clark takes home AOTW accolades for the fourth time this season after he became the ninth player in Elizabethtown men's lacrosse history to reach the 100-point mark in his career during Saturday's 12-5 win at Drew. The sophomore, who had a man down goal against the Rangers, finished with two goals and two assists. Clark ends the regular season with the top point (62) and assist (23) totals in the Landmark, and he ranks second in goals (39). His 62 points this season are 11 shy of Elizabethtown's single season record of 73, set by Aaron Weber back in 2009.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Jared Knowlton, Susquehanna
    April 27, 2015
    (Sr., GK, North Salem, N.Y.) Knowlton started and played all 60 minutes in Susquehanna's 9-5 win over Catholic on Saturday which clinched the No. 2 seed in the Landmark Championship. He had 14 saves in the victory as he and the Susquehanna defense gave up just five goals to the Cardinals. This season, Knowlton has started all 13 games in which he's played. He has a 5.93 GAA, .637 save percentage, 137 saves and an 11-2 record. The Crusaders are 12-3 overall, and the 12 victories ties a program record. This is the third time in his career that Knowlton has received AOTW recognition.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Chet McLaughlin, Susquehanna
    April 20, 2015
    (So., A, Chatham, N.J.) McLaughlin had two goals and two assists, including the game-winning strike with 1:15 left in overtime, as Susquehanna clinched a playoff berth with an 8-7 victory at Scranton on Saturday. He scored on two of his three shots and also picked up three ground balls. For the season, McLaughlin is second on the team in points (30), goals (18) and assists (12). The Crusaders are currently second in the Landmark standings with a 5-1 conference record.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Harrison Holak, Catholic
    April 20, 2015
    (Jr., GK, Doylestown, Pa.) Holak made a season-high 16 saves to help the Cardinals clinch a playoff spot with a 10-8 victory over Goucher on Saturday. The win was Catholic's first over the Gophers in program history, and it was the team's third straight overall. Holak has started all 13 games this year, and he ranks second in the Landmark in saves (141) and third in save percentage (60.8). This is the third time in his career that he has received AOTW recognition.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Tim Keith, Catholic
    April 13, 2015
    (So., A, King of Prussia, Pa.) Keith scored a season-high six goals, and he also added an assist in Catholic's 14-7 Landmark win over Drew on Saturday. His 15 goals are the most for any Landmark player in conference games this season, and his 25 total goals are tied for fifth overall. Keith had a game-high 14 shots, 11 of which were on target, as the Cardinals took over sole possession of the fourth and final playoff spot with the victory.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Pierce Mead, Susquehanna
    April 13, 2015
    (Fr., M, Mendham, N.J.) Mead won 15 of 18 faceoffs in Susquehanna's 13-3 victory over Washington & Jefferson on Saturday. That possession helped the Crusaders keep their conference opponents off the scoreboard in two of the four quarters, and Susquehanna held a 38-14 edge in shots. Mead finished with seven ground balls in the contest. For the season, he is 61-110 in faceoffs (0.555 percent), and he has 34 total ground balls.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Joe Clark, Elizabethtown

    (So., A, Hershey, Pa.) Clark receives AOTW honors for a third time this season after piling up 10 more points in a pair of wins last week, as the Blue Jays established a new program record by running their winning streak to nine games. Clark collected his second straight hat trick and fifth of the season, with a four-goal, two-assist, six-point performance in a 17-10 win at Immaculata Wednesday. He also picked up two ground balls and forced a turnover. In Saturday's 12-8 win over Merchant Marine, which kept E-town unbeaten in Landmark play, Clark tied a season-high with three assists as part of a four-point afternoon (1g, 3a). Clark continues to lead the Landmark in goals (27) and points (44), while ranking second in assists (17).
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Nicholas McKaba, Scranton
    April 06, 2015
    (Jr., GK, Long Valley, N.J.) McKaba made 18 saves in two games as the Royals extended their winning streak to three by downing Kean University, 14-7, and Drew University, 13-4, last week. McKaba allowed only three goals in the second half as the Royals broke away from a 5-4 halftime lead against Kean. He allowed only one goal in the first half in Saturday's win at Drew. McKaba has made at least 10 saves in three games this year, and he is currently ranked second in the Landmark in goals-against average (5.66).
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Will Mahle, Scranton
    March 30, 2015
    (Sr., M, Montgomery, N.J..) Mahle scored a career-high five goals and handed out three assists as the Royals snapped a two-game losing streak with a 16-2 victory over Washington & Jefferson at home on Saturday. He scored three of his five goals in the second quarter as the Royals bolted out to a 13-1 halftime lead. Mahle currently ranks third in the Landmark in both goals (20) and points (27). This is the second time this season that he has received AOTW recognition.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Chris Wenger, Elizabethtown
    March 30, 2015
    (Sr., GK, Kingsville, Md.) Wenger made 11 saves to lift Elizabethtown to an 8-4 win at Catholic on Saturday. He won his sixth straight start, as the Blue Jays extended their winning streak to seven games and remained unbeaten in Landmark play. Wenger came into the game leading the conference and ranking sixth in Division III in goals-against average (5.14) and lowered that to an even 5.00 after stopping 73.3 percent of Catholic's shots on goal Saturday. The 11 saves were the second most by Wenger in a game this season and marked the fourth time he's made 10 or more in 2015. He also ranks second in the league in save percentage (.647) and saves per game (8.56).
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Victor Licata, Catholic
    March 23, 2015
    (So., M, Towson, Md.) Licata totaled a team-high six points in the Cardinals' 16-6 road victory over Merchant Marine. He had five goals and an assist, while also contributing six ground balls and two caused turnovers as Catholic evened up its Landmark record at 1-1. Licata is ranked fifth in the Landmark overall with 17 goals for the season.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Luke Stephens, Elizabethtown
    March 23, 2015
    (So., D, Murrysville, Pa.) Stephens scored a goal, caused a pair of turnovers and had five ground balls in Saturday's 5-4 victory at Scranton that kept Elizabethtown unbeaten in the Landmark. He scored his first career goal at 13:34 of the first quarter to open the scoring. Late in regulation, Stephens forced a Royal turnover that helped the Blue Jays prevail for their sixth win in a row. Earlier in the week, he tied a team-high with four ground balls in Elizabethtown's 11-7 win over nationally-ranked York (Pa.).
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Will Mahle, Scranton
    March 16, 2015
    (Sr., M, Montgomery, N.J..) Mahle scored a career-high four goals apiece in leading the Royals to back-to-back victories over King's and Catholic, both by the identical scores of 8-5 as Scranton improved to 4-3 overall and 1-0 in the Landmark Conference. He scored twice in the second half as the Royals overcame a 4-2 first-period deficit in last Wednesday's win over King's and three times in the second half as Scranton overcame a 4-1 halftime deficit against the Cardinals on Sunday. Mahle currently leads the Royals with 13 goals overall on the season.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Matt Frey, Elizabethtown
    March 16, 2015
    (Sr., D, West Grove, Pa.) Frey played his best game of the season Saturday, causing five turnovers and recording eight ground balls in a 7-5 victory over two-time defending conference champion and preseason favorite Susquehanna. Frey came within a ground ball and a caused turnover of equaling career-highs in both categories during the Blue Jays' Landmark debut. On Wednesday, in a 14-1 rout of Delaware Valley, the senior forced a pair of Aggie giveaways and finished with five ground balls. Frey ranks second in the Landmark in both ground balls (33) and caused turnovers (18) this season. He leads all conference defensemen in ground balls.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Joe Clark, Elizabethtown

    (So., A, Hershey, Pa.) Clark tallied four goals and an assist in each of Elizabethtown's victories over the weekend. The eight goals came on only 11 shots, and he now leads the Landmark rankings with 16 markers on the season. The Blue Jays defeated Ferrum by a 10-2 score on Saturday and topped Randolph 13-5 the following afternoon. Clark receives AOTW recognition for the second time in the last three weeks.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Jacob Succop, Washington & Jefferson
    March 09, 2015
    (Jr., GK, Cranberry Twp., Pa.) Succop helped Washington & Jefferson to its first 4-0 start in program history with a pair of victories over regional rivals Bethany and Saint Vincent last week. He played all 120 minutes of the two games, allowing 15 goals (7.50 GAA) while making 30 saves with a 66.7 save percentage. Succop made a career-high 21 saves over Saint Vincent on Saturday, the most for the program since former President Ran Kirby made 25 saves against Susquehanna on April 6, 2013. His four wins already are tied for the most by a W&J goalie since Kirby won seven games in 2010.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Geoff Harty, USMMA
    March 02, 2015
    (Sr., A, Chicago, Ill.) Harty matched his career-high of nine points in the Mariners' season-opening 19-9 home victory over Coast Guard on Saturday. He scored seven goals and contributed two assists. The attackman recorded six goals in the first half of the game, including three-straight at one point and the game-winner. He also picked up two ground balls. Harty receives AOTW recognition for the third time in his collegiate career.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Kade MacGregor, Susquehanna
    March 02, 2015
    (Jr., D, Centreville, Md.) MacGregor started both games for Susquehanna last week, accounting for seven ground balls and seven caused turnovers as the Crusaders defeated Muhlenberg 12-10 and King's (Pa.) 11-7. The Susquehanna defense held the Mules to just two first quarter goals and shut them out for the entire third quarter. Against King's, the Crusader defenders allowed only seven goals while MacGregor had four ground balls and four caused turnovers. Susquehanna has opened the season 2-0 for the first time since 2011.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Joe Clark, Elizabethtown

    (So., A, Hershey, Pa.) Clark, the defending Commonwealth Conference Rookie of the Year, scored a career-high six goals to go along with two assists in Elizabethtown's tough 10-9 double overtime defeat to Oneonta St. on Sunday. The six tallies are tied for fourth most in program history for a single game, while the eight points are tied for fifth on the program's single-game list. Clark also added a goal in the Blue Jays' season-opening 8-6 win over Dickinson on Wednesday. He finished with seven goals on 15 shots for the week overall.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Matt Finor, Scranton
    February 23, 2015
    (Sr., M, Churchville, Pa.) Finor won 14 of 17 faceoffs in a season-opening 8-6 loss to Farmingdale State on Saturday. He was 8-for-9 in the second half, including a perfect 4-for-4 stretch as the Royals tried to rally in the final nine minutes. Finor now has 506 career faceoff wins.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Conner Annunziato, Goucher
    February 16, 2015
    (Jr., A, West Chester, Pa.) Annunziato tied a school record with seven assists in Goucher's season-opening 17-5 win at Millsaps on Friday. He also added two goals in that contest. Annunziato followed that performance with a goal and four more assists in a 15-4 win at Huntingdon on Sunday afternoon. The junior entered the weekend with career totals of three goals and two assists over his first two seasons of play.
