  • Men's Offensive Athlete of the Week - Tim Keith (Catholic)

    (Jr., A - King of Prussia, Pa.) Facing a win or go-home situation, The Catholic University of America men's lacrosse team put on an impressive showing on the road, winning at Scranton, 11-3. Junior attack Tim Keith was near-unstoppable, scoring a season-high six goals on eight shots for a 75.0 shot percentage. Three of his scores came man-up. Keith also added two ground balls to help secure a playoff spot for the Cards.
  • Men's Defensive Athlete of the Week - Harrison Holak (Catholic)
    May 02, 2016
    (Sr., goalie - Doylestown, Pa.) In a win-or-go-home game for the Cardinals senior goalie Harrison Holak came up huge for Catholic. With the playoffs on the line, Holak limited Scranton to just three goals in the road victory. He came up with 14 saves in the game for an impressive 82.4 save percentage. Holak faced 47 shots in the contest and led the team with five ground balls.
  • Men's Offensive Athlete of the Week - Patt Coll (USMMA)

    (So, A - Clifton Park, N.Y.) Coll matched his season- and career-high of eight goals and tallied the game-winning goal in the Mariners' exciting 14-13 double overtime win on Saturday. The sophomore now has a Landmark Conference-leading 58 goals and ranks third in the country with 4.46 goals per game. Coll also picked up one groundball in the key victory.
  • Men's Defensive Athlete of the Week - Jeremy Klipple (Elizabethtown)

    (Fr, D - Purcellville, Va.) Jeremy Klipple had another huge week for Elizabethtown, which wrapped up its second straight unbeaten regular season in the conference Saturday with a 9-7 comeback victory over Scranton. Klipple set a career-high with five caused turnovers and tied a career-high with four ground balls in a tight one goal loss to Washington and Lee Tuesday night at Cabrini College. On Saturday, he equaled his career-high by forcing five more turnovers as the Jays locked up the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Landmark Conference Championships.
  • Men's Offensive Athlete of the Week - Joe Clark (Elizabethtown)

    (Jr, A - Hershey, Pa.) Joe Clark scored 11 points in two Elizabethtown victories last week, including hat tricks in both games. Clark scored five points on three goals and two assists in a 12-7 win over Goucher and had four goals and two assists for six points at Drew Saturday. His last goal against Drew was his 30th of the season, giving him back-to-back 30-goal season. He moved into third place on Elizabethtown’s career scoring list (89 goals, 60 assists, 149 points) and is now fourth in program history in career goals.
  • Men's Defensive Athlete of the Week - Jeremy Klipple (Elizabethtown)

    (Fr, D - Purcellville, Va.) Elizabethtown freshman Jeremy Klipple forced seven turnovers and picked up 10 ground balls as the Blue Jays earned Landmark Conference wins over Goucher and Drew last week. Klipple set a new career-high with six ground balls and tied a career-high with four caused turnovers in the Jays' 12-7 win over Goucher Tuesday. He backed that up with three forced turnovers and four GBs in a 15-9 victory at Drew Saturday. The rookie defender also netted his second goal of the season in Saturday's game.
  • Men's Offensive Athlete of the Week - Pat Coll (USMMA)

    (So, A - Clifton Park, N.Y.) Coll continued his sensational sophomore season this week with 18 more points over two games. On Wednesday against local rival SUNY Maritime, he led all players with eight goals and also dished out one assist in the Mariners' 18-12 victory. On Saturday against Landmark opponent Drew, Coll scored six times and added three assists to USMMA's 12-6 win over the Rangers. He also recorded six groundballs and two caused turnovers over the two games.
  • Men's Defensive Athlete of the Week - Kevin Young (USMMA)

    (Sr, G - Springfield, Va.) Young earned two more victories between the pipes for the Mariners this week to improve to 9-2 overall on the season. The senior recorded 12 saves on Wednesday in USMMA's 18-12 non-conference win over rival SUNY Maritime college and followed that up with a 13-save performance for a Landmark victory over Drew on Saturday.
  • Men's Offensive Athlete of the Week - Jimmy Waters (Elizabethtown)

    (Sr, M - Sinking Spring, Pa.) Senior midfielder Jimmy Waters contributed a career-high seven points on three goals and four assists Saturday as Elizabethtown topped Merchant Marine, 17-10, in a meeting of unbeaten conference teams. Waters' seven points are tied for 10th most in a game in team history and his four helpers are tied for eighth most in a single game. For the week, Waters finished with five goals and four assists for nine points. He did so on just 10 shots (seven on goal). Waters also had two ground balls and a caused turnover against USMMA.
  • Men's Defensive Athlete of the Week - Harrison Holak (Catholic)

    (Sr., goalie - Doylestown, Pa.) Catholic's senior goalkeeper improved to 8-3 overall this season, stopping nine shots while allowing just five goals in a conference road win at Drew. Holak now boasts 149 saves this season, the most in the Landmark, and a 61.8 save percentage, best of any player in the league with at least five games played.
  • Men's Offensive Athlete of the Week - Joe Clark (Elizabethtown)

    (Jr, A - Hershey, Pa.) Joe Clark registered his third four-goal game of the season and totaled five points as Elizabethtown earned a huge 16-12 road victory at Catholic Thursday in a matchup of the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the Landmark Preseason Poll. Clark has multi-point performances in all nine of the Blue Jays' games so far. The Hershey native opened the scoring Thursday night with his 20th goal of the year at 6:56 of the first quarter. Clark added three points in the second quarter, scoring back-to-back goals midway through the period and assisting on a Jason Clough tally.
  • Men's Defensive Athlete of the Week - Kevin Young (USMMA)

    (Sr, G - Springfield, Va.) Young earned two victories on the week and made a season-best 17 saves in an unbelievable performance against Goucher on Saturday. The senior started the week earning the win between the pipes in the Mariners' 19-9 victory, as he played three quarters and made three saves while allowing just five goals. In Saturday's Landmark opener, Young stood tall, making 17 saves and allowing just five goals. He also picked up three groundballs total over the two games.
  • Men's Offensive Athlete of the Week - Nick Treon (USMMA)
    March 21, 2016
    (So, A - Danville, Pa.) Treon led Merchant Marine with 14 points over two victories this past weekend, including 10 in the win over Mount St. Vincent on Thursday night. The sophomore dished out four assists in a 9-5 victory over Concordia Wisconsin on Wednesday night and the followed that up with a three-goal, seven-assist night against the Dolphins on St. Patrick's Day. Treon now leads the Landmark Conference in assists with 18 total over five games. He also picked up four ground balls and caused two turnovers over the two contests.
  • Men's Defensive Athlete of the Week - Matt Michalski (Catholic)
    March 21, 2016
    (So., midfielder - Pasadena, Md.) CUA's second-year faceoff man was dominant in the circle for Catholic, owning the midfield for the Cardinals. He also keyed a defensive effort that saw 56 of 86 ground balls go CUA's way, six failed Goucher clears and only 21-of-33 Gopher shots reach the cage. Michalski won 20-of-25 faceoffs to often put Catholic in control at first whistle. He scooped up seven ground balls in the contest and even added his first career goal which put the Cardinals up 4-1 in the first quarter.
  • Men's Offensive Athlete of the Week - Dylan Neville (Catholic)
    March 14, 2016
    (Jr, M - Port Washington, N.Y.) Catholic's junior midfielder was locked in last week, keying CUA to two victories with 10 points. Neville scored a season-high four goals and added two assists for a career-best six points in a win over Beloit. The junior also picked up three ground balls in the contest, and scored on 4-of-5 shots. He continued to roll against Marywood and started a Cardinal comeback, scoring CUA's first goal of the contest after trailing 3-0. He also assisted on the next score and put in the game-winner with 5:41 to go, finishing the game with four points. The victories keep Catholic perfect at home as the team improved 6-0 at Cardinals Stadium.
  • Men's Defensive Athlete of the Week - Dylan Abplanalp (Susquehanna)

    (Fr, G - Grasonville, Md.) Abplanalp started both games this past week and played every single minute, including OT vs. Hendrix. He finished with a 2-0 record, 31 saves (20 vs. Hendrix), just 11 GA, a 73.8 save percentage and a 5.41 GAA. The freshman has started every game and played every minute this season. He is 5-1, has 40 saves, a .615 save percentage and a 6.63 GAA. SU is 5-1 this season.
  • Men's Offensive Athlete of the Week - Joe Clark (Elizabethtown)

    (Jr, A - Hershey, Pa.) Elizabethtown junior attackman Joe Clark moved up to fifth on the Blue Jays' all-time scoring list with 10 points in a pair of victories last week. Clark started the week seventh, but registered a career-high four assists and two goals in a 12-4 win at Guilford Wednesday to move into sixth. Saturday against Messiah, Clark amassed his second hat trick of the season in helping E-town hold off the Falcons, 7-5. Clark finished the week with five goals and five assists. He scored on half of his 10 shots, picked up three ground balls and caused a turnover.
  • Men's Defensive Athlete of the Week - Mike Tangredi (Elizabethtown)
    March 07, 2016
    (Sr, D - Floral Park, N.Y.) Mike Tangredi caused six turnovers and registered nine ground balls as Elizabethtown earned wins over Guilford and Messiah last week. Tangredi pressured Guilford into four turnovers Wednesday and scooped up five ground balls, both career-highs. In Saturday's 7-5 win over Messiah, the senior defender caused a pair of giveaways and grabbed four ground balls.
  • Men's Offensive Athlete of the Week - Victor Licata (Catholic)

    (Jr, M - Towson, Md.) CUA's all-league middie had an impressive week for the Cards, scoring four goals with four assists over two games for head coach Brooks Singer. Licata scored three goals and added an assist in a thrilling midweek game at Hampden-Sydney before added four more points on a score and three helpers as Catholic rolled past Arcadia. The junior also added five ground balls and put 10 of his 12 shots for the week on goal.
  • Men's Defensive Athlete of the Week - Corrie Van haasteren (Susquehanna)
    February 29, 2016
    (Sr, D - Raymond, Maine) Van Haasteren started both games for SU which went 2-0 this past week. He finished with six ground balls and five caused turnovers, including five against King's. He also had three shots, all against King's. SU's defense held Muhlenberg to just two goals over the final three quarters of play and limited King's to just one goal in the second half.
  • Men's Offensive Athlete of the Week - Tim Keith (Catholic)

    (Jr, A - King of Prussia, Pa.) Keith came out on fire to start the 2016 season, leading CUA to two victories. He totaled 11 goals, four assists and three ground balls. The junior was constantly on the attack, totaling at least five goals, two assists, a ground ball and 11 shots in each contest. Continually sparking the offense, he scored the first three goals of the game in the win over Randolph-Macon. Trailing by three after the first quarter, Keith tallied four of CUA five second period goals, including the go-ahead score.
  • Men's Defensive Athlete of the Week - Jimmy Waters (Elizabethtown)
    February 22, 2016
    (Sr, M - Sinking Spring, Pa.) Senior midfielder Jimmy Waters produced a great all-around game Saturday as E-town topped Marywood, 16-2, in its season opener. On the defensive side of the ball, Waters forced three turnovers, tied for the team lead. He picked up two ground balls, but was also able to generate at the other end of the field as one of the team's strongest two-way players Saturday. Waters added two goals and an assist for the Blue Jays.
