  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Bennett Bradley, Catholic
    April 30, 2018
    (Sr., M - Towson, Md.) Senior Bennett Bradley saved his best for last as he set a program record in his final game in a Catholic uniform. The attackman broke his own single-game goals record by one as he scored eight times, including the game-winner against Elizabethtown to help the Cardinals to a win on senior day and hand the Blue Jays just their second Landmark loss of the season. Bradley finished with a nine-point afternoon as he added an assist and had a 66.7 shot-on-goal percentage on 18 attempts.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Logan Winn, Goucher
    April 30, 2018
    (Sr., D - Pleasanton, Calif.) On his Senior Day, Logan Winn matched a team-high with four caused turnovers (which was also a career-high), leading the defense in a 13-6 win over Moravian that clinched a spot in the Landmark Conference playoffs for Goucher. He also had three ground balls in the win, as Goucher caused 17 turnovers in the victory.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Matt Woodson, Goucher
    April 23, 2018
    (So., A - Timonium, Md.) Goucher sophomore Matt Woodson scored the eventual game-winning goal against Catholic on Wednesday, lifting the Gophers to their first win over the Cardinals since 2014. The goal came with under three minutes to go in regulation and put Goucher up for good at 6-3. He added four assists and a goal at Drew on Saturday in a 9-5 Gopher win.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Tommy Mahoney, Elizabethtown
    April 23, 2018
    (So, G - Hillsborough, N.J.) E-town sophomore goalie Tom Mahoney had a 5.85 goals against average and registered his second 20-save game of the season last week as the Blue Jays went 1-1. In Wednesday's 9-5 victory over Moravian, Mahoney stopped seven shots and recorded a .583 save percentage for his fourth win of the season. He was even more impressive, albeit in a losing effort, against likely NCAA tournament participant Colorado College on Friday. Mahoney stifled the Tigers' offense, which came into the game ranked top 10 nationally in scoring offense (sixth) and points per game (fourth). Mahoney posted 20 saves and held Colorado College to its lowest goal total in any game this season and more than nine below its 16.45 season average.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Alec Tzaneteas, Susquehanna
    April 16, 2018
    (Sr., A - Mahwah, N.J.) Susquehanna senior Alec Tzaneteas was virtually unstoppable over the weekend as the senior helped Susquehanna to its school-record seventh straight game. Tzaneteas recorded a goal and two assists in the 10-4 win against Marywood to go along with two groundballs and one caused turnover. In the 17-7 victory against Goucher, he rattled off five goals and two assists. On the week, Tzaneteas scored six goals and had four assists.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Kurt Dick, Moravian
    April 16, 2018
    (Jr, G - Hatboro, Pa.) Junior Kurt Dick helped Moravian earn the program's first-ever Landmark Conference victory with 15 saves and two ground balls in an 11-7 win over Drew University.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Andrew Porzio, Susquehanna
    April 09, 2018
    (Sr., M - Middletown, N.J.) Susquehanna senior Andrew Porzio reached the 100 career point milestone with his fifth point in the road win over Catholic. The senior recorded four goals and one assist for five points.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Conor Carey, Scranton
    April 09, 2018
    (Sr., M - Long Beach, N.Y.) The University of Scranton Conor Carey had a team-high three caused turnovers as the Royals forced Moravian to turn the ball over 27 times in a 17-5 win at Fitzpatrick Field. He also tied for the team high with seven ground balls. On the offensive end, he added eight shots, four of which were on goal.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Connor Kirkwood, Scranton
    April 02, 2018
    (So., A - Millburn, N.J.) Scrnton sophomore Connor Kirkwood poured in a career-high seven goals and finished with eight points, also a career high, as the Royals thumped Catholic, 16-6, on Thursday. Kirkwood scored on seven of his 13 shots, 10 of which were on goal. He scored twice on the power play and had six second-half goals when the Royals turned a 6-4 lead into a rout.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Tom Mahoney, Elizabethtown

    (So, G - Hillsborough, N.J.) Elizabethtown sophomore goalie Tom Mahoney made a program single-game record 27 saves in last Wednesday's loss to second-ranked York (Pa.), before turning aside 10 shots in a 9-8 victory over Goucher on Saturday. Mahoney stopped six shots or more in every quarter against a potent York attack, surpassing Davis Miracle's former record of 23 saves set back in 2016, ironically at York.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Andrew Porzio, Susquehanna
    March 26, 2018
    (Sr., M - Middletown, N.J.) Susquehanna senior Andrew Porzio led the River Hawks to a pair of wins over the weekend, including a 9-8 win over Elizabethtown in the Landmark Conference opener. Porzio scored four goals and added an assist in the 16-8 win over Bryn Athyn where he also added five groundballs. Against the Blue Jays, the senior scored three times and added two groundballs to lead SU to the 9-8 victory. On the week, Porzio scored seven goals, totaled one assist and seven groundballs.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Mike Robertello, Catholic
    March 26, 2018
    (Sr., M - Rutland, Vt.) Catholic senior Mike Robertello helped spear-head a sterling defensive effort for the Cardinals as they held Drew to just eight goals in their Landmark-opening win over the Rangers. The senior defenseman came up key on several possessions as he recovered three ground balls and added a caused turnover in the victory.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Mason Gorman, Goucher
    March 19, 2018
    (Jr., M - Boise, Idaho) Goucher junior Mason Gorman was a force on the offensive end for the Gophers on the week, collecting 11 points in two Goucher victories. After scoring a pair of goals and adding a game-high three assists against Wesley on Wednesday, Gorman scored four goals and added two more assists in a 13-4 win at Neumann.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Dylan Abplanalp, Susquehanna
    March 19, 2018
    (Jr., G - Grasonville, Md.) Susquehanna junior Dylan Abplanalp set the Susquehanna school record for career saves and now has 394 career stops. He allowed just two goals in the 12-2 win over Marymount (Va.) on Saturday, while making nine stops.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Bennett Bradley, Catholic

    (Sr., M - Towson, Md.) Senior Bennett Bradley put Catholic on his back last week, scoring five of the Cardinals eight goals in an 8-7 overtime victory against Washington, including the game-winner with just over a minute left. He also added three ground balls and two caused turnovers in a complete game effort. The Cardinals leading scorer added three more in a neutral site game in Clearwater, Fla., against Clark University for an eight-goal week.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Adam Maiale, Scranton
    March 12, 2018
    (Jr., LSM - Blue Bell, Pa.) Scranton junior Adam Maiale had a game to remember in the Royals' 14-7 win at King's on Tuesday afternoon. He caused a career-high nine turnovers and added a career-high seven ground balls to pace the defense in the victory. His play helped the Royals win the turnover and ground ball battles while putting the game away by taking a 12-4 lead after three periods.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Bennett Bradley, Catholic

    (Sr., M - Towson, Md.) Catholic senior Bennett Bradley was on fire last week for the Cardinals as he led Catholic to a 2-0 week. The attackman scored at least five goals and six points in each victory and totaled 11 goals and two assists for 13 total points last week. Bradley scored six goals in an impressive win over 2017 NCAA-qualifier New England College, one short score short of tying his own Catholic University record for goals in a game. He added at least two ground balls per game, five total and put 16 of 23 shots on the cage.
  • Defensive Athlete of the Week - Jeremy Klipple, Elizabethtown
    March 05, 2018
    (Jr, D - Purcellville, Va.) Elizabethtown junior Jeremy Klipple caused four turnovers and grabbed four ground balls in Elizabethtown's 9-5 win over Shenandoah, Saturday. Klipple set a season-high for caused turnovers, forcing two in the first quarter and another two in the third. He's now recorded multiple caused turnovers in each of the Jays' three games this season.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Scott Nizolak, Elizabethtown

    (So, - Scotch Plains, N.J.) Elizabethtown sophomore Scott Nizolak had a memorable home debut, Saturday, scoring four times in E-town's 10-5 victory over St. Mary's (Md.). He put on an offensive display against the Seahawks with a hat trick before halftime. The Scotch Plains, N.J., native scored back-to-back first-quarter goals at 11:16 and 4:09 to give the Jays a 2-1 lead. His third goal of the game, at 11:03 of the second, increased E-town's lead to 5-2. Nizolak also scored in the fourth quarter and posted a game-high seven shots. The four-goal game was the second by a Blue Jay in as many games this season.
  • Densive Athlete of the Week - Jack Myers, Elizabethtown
    February 26, 2018
    (Jr, G - Ambler, Pa.) Elizabethtown junior Jack Myers made a career-high 12 saves, including seven in the fourth quarter, during Elizabethtown's 10-5 victory over St. Mary's (Md.) on Saturday. Myers, whose previous career-high for stops in a game was six, allowed only three goals over the final 45 minutes of play and helped protect the Blue Jays' 6-3 halftime lead with 10 saves in the second half.
  • Offensive Athlete of the Week - Patrick Silverman, Catholic
    February 19, 2018
    (Fr., A - Brookville, Md.) Catholic opened the season with impressive victories over Sewanee and Randolph-Macon. The Cardinals' freshman standout was extremely impressive with 12 points over the two victories. Silverman debuted with eight points on five goal and three assists in the neutral site victory over 2017 NCAA-qualifier Sewanee and followed it up with four more points in a 15-10 win over R-MC with a goal and three assists.
  • Densive Athlete of the Week - Matt Messerlie, Goucher
    February 19, 2018
    (Sr., G - Limerick, Pa.) Goucher senior Matt Messerlie had a great opening game against Hood on Sunday, as the Gophers collected a 10-5 victory. He matched a career-high with 15 saves in the victory, as the Gophers kept Hood off the scoreboard for the entire first half and almost six minutes into the second half.
