  • Athlete of the Week - Shannon Stricker, Scranton
    April 27, 2015
    (So., SS, Morrisville, Pa.) Stricker batted .481 during an eight-game span to raise her team-leading batting average to .372. She hit safely in six of the eight games this past week, including four multi-hit games. In a split against Keystone on Sunday, Stricker finished with six hits, including three doubles and a triple. She also drove in 11 runs during the period, including four in a 12-6 win over Hunter in the first game of non-conference doubleheader Friday evening and two in an 8-2 win over Drew in the opener of a Landmark doubleheader Saturday. Her team-leading total of 13 doubles to date is currently tied for the fifth-most in a single season in Royals' history.
  • Pitcher of the Week - Josie Novak, Moravian
    April 27, 2015
    (Fr., RHP, Neshanic Station, N.J.) Novak repeats as Pitcher of the Week and claims her third weekly award of 2015 after tossing a pair of two-hit shutouts in a 4-0 week for the Greyhounds. She blanked regionally-ranked College of Staten Island, 5-0, on Saturday with two hits, no walks and eight strikeouts. Novak followed up the performance with a two-hit shutout, no walks and a career-high 12 strikeouts in a 6-0 victory at regionally-ranked Neumann University on Sunday.She has 125 strikeouts in her debut season, the ninth-best total in school history.
  • Athlete of the Week - Jenn Dalickas, Moravian

    (Sr., DP/1B, Mertztown, Pa.) Dalickas continued her torrid April last week, going 14-for-22 (.636) with 12 runs, 10 walks, 9 RBIs, three doubles and three home runs. After being walked in 13 straight plate appearances earlier in the month, Dalickas moved to the leadoff spot in the lineup this week after two years of hitting third. This month, Dalickas is 24-for-35 with 29 walks and had a streak of 25 straight plate appearances of reaching first base (9-for-9 with 16 walks). She has set the Moravian school record with 33 base on balls this season, and she has moved into second in school history with 70 walks. In a sweep of Ramapo in non-conference action this week, Dalickas connected on a home run in each game to tie and then break Moravian's career home run record. Her homer on Sunday versus Scranton pushed the record to 31 in a Moravian uniform. This is the second time this season and sixth overall that she has earned AOTW recognition.
  • Pitcher of the Week - Josie Novak, Moravian

    (Fr., RHP, Neshanic Station, N.J.) Novak had a 4-0 week in the circle for the Greyhounds as the squad went 8-0 overall, including two sweeps to finish the Landmark season at 11-1. Novak threw four complete games and had a 1.62 ERA after allowing seven runs (six earned) in 26 innings. She gave up 16 hits and five walks during the week, and she recorded 33 strikeouts to increase her season total to 105 in her debut season, the 11th best season total in Moravian history. This is the second time this season that Novak has earned AOTW recognition.
  • Athlete of the Week - Lizzie Mack, Moravian
    April 13, 2015
    (Sr., OF, Hanover, Pa.) Mack hit .462 (6-for-13) last week, and she played a key role in each of Moravian's two victories. She had a grand slam and five RBIs in the Greyhounds' 7-3 win over Muhlenberg on Thursday, and she added three more RBIs, including the go-ahead seventh-inning run scoring single, in Moravian's 5-4 triumph over Susquehanna on Saturday. For the week, Mack finished with a .467 on-base percentage and a .923 slugging percentage. This is the second time in her career that she has received AOTW recognition.
  • Pitcher of the Week - Morgan Lewis, Susquehanna
    April 13, 2015
    (Sr., RHP, Newtown, Pa.) Lewis tossed 12 scoreless innings in her two starts for the Crusaders last week. She had four strikeouts in a no-hit performance against Moravian on Saturday in a matchup of two undefeated Landmark teams. Susquehanna came away with a 1-0 win in Lewis' start to open up the doubleheader. Earlier in the week against Wilkes, Lewis gave up just four hits and struck out six in a 10-0, complete game five inning win. Opponents are hitting .220 against the senior this season, with Lewis currently holding a record of 9-3 overall. This is the second time she has earned AOTW recognition in her career.
  • Athlete of the Week - Jenn Dalickas, Moravian
    April 06, 2015
    (Sr., DP/3B, Mertztown, Pa.) Dalickas led the Greyhounds to a 4-0 week in Landmark Conference action as Moravian extended its winning streak to 14 games. She hit .727 for the week with eight hits in 11 at-bats, and she added six runs, eight RBIs and five doubles. Dalickas had a .824 on-base percentage for the week, drawing six walks to reach base 14 times in 17 plate appearance, and she added a 1.182 slugging percentage, hitting safely in all four games. Dalickas tied three other players in the Moravian record book for doubles in a game with three in the final game of the week at Drew University. This is the fifth time in her career that she has earned AOTW recognition.
  • Pitcher of the Week - Laura Tomasetti, Elizabethtown
    April 06, 2015
    (Sr., LHP, Bridgeton, N.J.) Tomasetti struck out a season-high eight batters in a complete game 8-1 victory over Juniata on Saturday. She surrendered just three hits and an unearned run, and she did not walk a single hitter. Tomasetti also helped her cause at the place, finishing 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. This is the second time this season, and third in her career, that she has been recognized as a Landmark AOTW.
  • Athlete of the Week - Brianna Murphy, Susquehanna
    March 30, 2015
    (Sr., OF, Hazlet, N.J.) Murphy started all three games for the Crusaders last week, hitting for a .625 batting average with five hits, seven runs scored and three RBIs from the leadoff spot. She had two triples and two home runs for a 1.875 slugging percentage and a .727 on base percentage. Murphy has started all 14 games and is batting .354 with a team-leading 16 runs scored, four home runs and two triples. She has 17 hits (seven for extra bases) and is 5-for-6 in stolen bases. Susquehanna went 2-1 this past week and now stands at 11-4 overall with a 4-0 Landmark record.
  • Pitcher of the Week - Josie Novak, Moravian

    (Fr., RHP, Neshanic Station, N.J.) Novak won her fifth straight start and posted her second shutout of the season in her only action last week as Moravian played for the first time in two weeks and opened its home season and Landmark campaign with a doubleheader sweep of Elizabethtown on Friday. Novak tossed the opening game of the twinbill, and scattered four hits and a pair of walks while striking out four batters in the 2-0 victory. She currently leads the Landmark with 48 strikeouts, and she is second among conference pitchers with a 0.72 earned-run average.
  • Athlete of the Week - Shannon Stricker, Scranton

    (So., SS, Morrisville, Pa.) Stricker hit safely in 7 of 8 games last week, helping the Royals to a 5-3 record during their season-opening spring break trip in Florida. She had four multi-hit games while batting .379 overall (11-for-29). Stricker scored eight runs, totaled seven RBIs and struck out only twice. She had a 14-game hitting streak dating back to last season halted in the final game of the trip against D'Youville.
  • Pitcher of the Week - Morgan Rentzheimer, Scranton
    March 23, 2015
    (Fr., P, Laurys Station, Pa.) Rentzheimer tossed 27.2 innings during the Royals' spring break trip in Florida, allowing only six earned runs for an earned-run average of 1.52 during that stretch. She went the distance in her collegiate debut, totaling 10 strikeouts in Scranton's season-opening 10-4 win over Fredonia State. Rentzheimer added a second win against Calvin on Wednesday, and she picked up a save after recording the final two outs of the Royals' 5-4 win over FDU-Florham. She managed a 2-2 record for the week, with the second loss coming despite allowing only an unearned run over seven innings (with 11 Ks) in a 1-0 loss to D'Youville.
  • Athlete of the Week - Mary Schlosbon, Moravian
    March 16, 2015
    (Jr., OF, Garnet Valley, Pa.) Schlosbon helped the Greyhounds to a perfect 8-0 record for the week as the team finished off its trip to the National Training Center in Clermont, Florida. She hit .455 for the week with 10 hits in 22 at-bats, hitting safely in the first six games of the week. Schlosbon also scored eight runs and drove in three more, and she drew three walks for a .520 on-base percentage. Schlosbon added four sacrifice bunts, and she had five putouts while starting in right field.
  • Pitcher of the Week - Amanda Carisone, Moravian
    March 16, 2015
    (Fr., P, Neshanic Station, N.J.) Carisone helped the Greyhounds go 8-0 during the week at the National Training Center in Clermont, Florida to finish Spring Break. She was 4-0 during the week with a 0.22 ERA and three shutouts. Three of the four games she tossed went to extra innings, and Carisone allowed just three runs, only one earned, in 32 innings of action. She allowed just two walks while striking out 19 batters, and Carisone had five putouts and six assists in 11 chances in the field.
  • Athlete of the Week - Amanda Neveroski, Susquehanna
    March 09, 2015
    (Jr., OF, Toms River, N.J.) Neveroski started all seven games last week during a stretch in which the Crusaders went 6-1. She hit .478 (11-23) with 11 hits, no strikeouts, eight runs scored and eight RBIs, contributing at least one hit and one run batted in all but one contest. Neveroski had a pair of 3-for-4 performances from the plate in victories over Otterbein and Mount Union, and she is hitting .433 through her nine appearances overall this season. Susquehanna concluded its 10-game Florida trip with a 7-3 record, with two of those losses coming against nationally-ranked opponents.
  • Pitcher of the Week - Keli Krause, Elizabethtown
    March 09, 2015
    (Jr., RHP, Schwenksville, Pa.) Krause started two games last week during a spring break trip to Florida, finishing with a 1.62 earned-run average and 21 strikeouts over 13 innings. She began the week with 10 Ks and three runs allowed over six innings against St. Vincent, taking a no decision in an eventual 4-3 defeat. Krause then tossed a complete-game two-hitter in a 7-0 victory over NYU on Saturday, striking out 11 and earning her first win on the mound this season. This is the second time that Krauss has earned Landmark AOTW recognition in her career.
  • Pitcher of the Week - Laura Tomasetti, Elizabethtown
    March 02, 2015
    (Sr., LHP, Bridgeton, N.J.) Tomasetti allowed only four hits in yesterday's complete game victory over DeSales. She struck out four batters while surrendering two runs and a pair of walks in Elizabethtown's 8-2 win. Tomasetti also aided her own cause with a two-run double in the third inning. This is the second time that she has received Landmark AOTW recognition in her career.
