Women's Athlete of the Week - Casey Quinto (Elizabethtown)
(Senior, Pennington, N.J.) For the fifth time this season in five races, Elizabethtown's Casey Quinto was in the top ten. On Saturday, Quinto was fifth overall at the DeSales Invitational and helped lead E-town to second in the team standings.
Men's Athlete of the Week - Patrick Jones (Catholic)
(Jr., Hagerstown, Md.) Catholic University's Patrick Jones showed his speed on Saturday at one of the largest meet's in the country, placing 13th overall at Lehigh University's Paul Short Run. The junior set a personal-best time at 26:46, helping the Cardinals to a 14th place finish in its group, topping 20 other program. Jones ran in a field of 266 competitors.
Women's Athlete of the Week - Meg Brockett (Moravian)
(Senior, Hampton, N.H.) Brockett ran a a school record time of 21:06, besting the old school record of 21:26 set by Heather McGarvie, on the 6,000-meter course as she placed fifth of 373 runners in the women's Brown race Saturday at the Paul Short Run. It was a career-best time by 46 seconds by Brockett as she helped the Greyhounds finish 21st of 42 teams in the Brown race. The previously listed Landmark Conference record is 21:44 for women on 6,000-meters.
Women's Athlete of the Week - Theresa Matula (Catholic)
(So., Springfield, Va.) Catholic's sophomore runner paced the Cardinals at their season-opener. Matula took seventh overall at the Mustang Stampede, crossing the finish line in 27:29.95. Her performance helped CUA to a fourth-place finish as the team bested sixth other teams.
Men's Athlete of the Week - Jimmy Buckley (Scranton)
(Sr., Belle Harbor, N.Y.) Buckley led the Royals for the third straight event after finishing in the top five at the Cougar Classic at Misericordia on Saturday. He has rebounded well after missing most of last season with an injury. It was his best individual finish of his career and the team's best of the season.
Women's Athlete of the Week - Meg Brockett (Moravian)
(Senior, Hampton, N.H.) Brockett placed first in the women's race at the Moravian XC Invitational Friday evening, finishing the 6,000-meter course in 22:05.06, the 14th fastest time in school history, to lead the 73-runner field.
Men's Athlete of the Week - Connor Dimond (Juniata)
(Senior, Summerhill, Pa.) Juniata senior Connor Dimond earned personal best at the Lock Haven Invitational last Saturday. The senior posted a time of 26:12.60 to finish 12th of 202. He surpassed his previous PR of 26:32.1 set at the 2015 Lock Haven Invitational.
Women's Athlete of the Week - Amy Kaschak (Susquehanna)
(Sr., Lake Hopatcong, N.J.) Kaschak's time of 22:53 helped lead the SU women to an overall team victory over 17 other teams, including eight NCAA Division I and II schools. SU's outright win was its first team victory in a 6K race since capturing the 2010 Landmark Conference title.
Men's Athlete of the Week - Greg Jaindl (Moravian)
(Freshman, Macungie, Pa.) Jaindl led the Moravian squad to a fourth place team finish at the Lehigh University Invitational to begin the 2016 campaign with a 22nd place finish among the 70 runners in a time of 20:10.02 on the 6,000-meter course as he competed in a college race for the first time.
Women's Athlete of the Week - Meg Brockett (Moravian)
(Senior, Hampton, N.H.) Brockett led Moravian to a third place team showing at the season opening Lehigh University Invitational with a second place individual finish of the 57 runners, and she had a time of 21:52.7 on the 6,000-meter course, averaging 5:51.9 per mile. Brockett was the first of just three non-NCAA Division III runners to finish in the top 20 individually.
