  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Samuel Gerstenbacher, Elizabethtown
    October 21, 2019
    (Senior, Pittsgrove, N.J.) Elizabethtown senior Samuel Gerstenbacher ran a second straight 8k PR, which was also the second-fastest 8k time ever recorded by a runner from the Landmark Conference when he posted a time of 24:30.0 on Saturday at the Inter-Regional Border Battle hosted by Rowan. Gerstenbacher also finished 8th overall out of a field of 256 with this fifth consecutive top 10 finish this season.
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Erin Reese, Susquehanna
    October 21, 2019
    (Senior, Lock Haven, Pa.) Susquehanna senior Erin Reese continues her strong 2019 senior campaign. Reese ran a personal best of 22:18.30 at the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle. The senior placed 20th out of a field of 224.
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Michael Kitsopoulos, Drew

    (Senior, Madison, N.J.) Drew senior Michael Kitsopoulos was the Rangers' top finisher at the DeSales Invitational, placing 63rd among 168 Division II and Division III competitors with a time of 29:32.
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Violet Kimble, Drew
    October 14, 2019
    (Junior, Edison, N.J.) Drew junior Violey Kimble paced the Rangers at the DeSales Invitational, placing 43rd among 125 Division II and Division III runners to help Drew finish sixth out of 12 teams. She was timed at 26:46 for the 6,000-meter course.
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Samuel Gerstenbacher, Elizabethtown

    (Senior, Pittsgrove, N.J.) In Saturday's 8k race at Lehigh University, senior Samuel Gerstenbacher ran a personal best 24:54.1 and became only the third athlete in conference history to break the 25:00 mark in an 8,000-meter race and first since 2015. Gerstenbacher, amongst Division I, II, and III talent, was sixth overall out of a field of more than 300 competitors. His time is the fifth-fastest ever to be run by an athlete out of the Landmark Conference.
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Erin Reese, Susquehanna

    (Senior, Lock Haven, Pa.) Susquehanna senior Erin Reese was the first Landmark Conference finisher at the Paul Short Run Invitational, hosted by Lehigh University. Reese crossed the finish line with a time of 22:25.70.
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - John O'Rourke, Catholic
    September 30, 2019
    (Freshman, Providence, R.I.) Freshman John O'Rourke finished 10th out of 193 runners as Catholic finished second out of 20 teams at the Hornet Harrier Invitational hosted by Shenandoah University. O'Rourke posted his third top-10 finish this season as he completed the 6K course in a time of 19:53.7 to place 10th. He was one of only 10 runners out of 193 to break the 20-minute mark.
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Alex Filiault, Catholic
    September 30, 2019
    (Senior, Summit, N.J.) Catholic senior Alex Filiault finished 22nd at the Hornet Harrier Invitational hosted by Shenandoah University on Saturday to lead the Cardinals to a sixth-place team finish. Filiault was the first Cardinal to cross the line in a time of 21:08.2.
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Jack Warehime, Susquehanna

    (Sophomore, Hanover, Pa.) Susquehanna sophomore Jake Warehime ran a new personal best at the Lockhaven University Invite 8k. Warehime crossed the finish line with a time of 26:59.40.
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Erin Reese, Susquehanna
    September 23, 2019
    (Senior, Lock Haven, Pa.) Susquehanna senior Erin Reese finished the race with a personal best 6k and the fourth fastest time in school history. She crossed the finish line with a time of 22:18.60.

    (Senior,, Upland, Pa.) Juniata senior Vinnie Caroselli placed second out of a field of 78 runners on Saturday at the Cardinal Classic, hosted by Catholic University. Caroselli crossed the finish line with a time of 27:18.30.
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Azia Kalil, Juniata
    September 16, 2019
    (Senior, Bedford, Mass.) Juniata senior Azia Kalil won her first race of the 2019 season at the Cardinal Classic, hosted by Catholic University. Kalil crossed the finish line with her time of 24:33.00 to help the Eagles to a fourth place finish.
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Liam Mead, Scranton

    (Freshman, Montrose, Pa. ) Scranton rookie Liam Mead led the Royals for the second straight week as he finished seventh in a time of 26:52.7 at Saturday's Dutchmen Invitational. The freshman has opened his career with consecutive top-10 finishes.
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Melissa Fitzgibbon, Elizabethtown
    September 09, 2019
    (Sophomore, Landenberg, Pa.) Elizabethtown sophomore Melissa Fitzgibbon won the first race of her career on Saturday at the Blue Jay Alumni Challenge. Fitzgibbon cruised to the win in 16:31.39, nearly 25 seconds better than the second-place finisher.
  • Men's Athlete of the Week - Samuel Gerstenbacher, Elizabethtown

    (Senior, Pittsgrove, N.J.) Elizabethtown senior Samuel Gerstenbacher got his 2019 season off to a fast start with a runner-up finish at the Light Up The Night Invite on Friday, hosted by Dickinson. Gerstenbacher placed second in 15:52.2 out of 89 runners in the race and helped E-town win with a meet-low 40 points.
  • Women's Athlete of the Week - Rachel Kerr, Scranton

    (Junior, Archbald, Pa.) Scranton junior Rachel Kerr registered her first career win at Friday's Misericordia Invitational with a personal-best time of 15:57.80 and helped the Royals capture the team title with 30 points, just edging out the host Misericordia who finished second with 32.
