The Mary Beth Spirk Internship honors the legacy of one of Division III athletics’ most influential mentors, leaders, and advocates. Named for longtime Moravian University coach and administrator Mary Beth Spirk, known across the Division III community as “MB," the program reflects her lifelong commitment to helping others grow, succeed, and find their path in collegiate athletics.
The Landmark Conference internship program provides hands-on professional experience in areas such as conference operations, communications, championship administration, governance, and leadership development. More than just practical training, it is designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders in collegiate athletics through mentorship, opportunity, and meaningful engagement, values that defined Spirk’s nearly five-decade career.
Each intern who carries the Mary Beth Spirk name forward steps into a tradition rooted in service, care, and impact, continuing a legacy that shaped the Landmark Conference and Division III athletics for generations.
