Landmark Announces 2024 Women's Cross Country All-Conference

TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark Conference announced its 2024 Women's Cross Country awards on Monday afternoon.

The top seven finishers at the conference championship earned First Team All-Conference honors, while the next seven secured spots on the Second Team. Additionally, the following five runners received Honorable Mention recognition.

The Performer of the Year award went to the individual champion of the race, and the Rookie of the Year was awarded to the highest-finishing first-year competitor. The Coaching Staff of the Year honor was determined by a vote among the league's head coaches.

Performer of the Year: Kate Inglis (Catholic University)
Rookie of the Year: Callie Gorman (University of Scranton)
Coaching Staff of the Year: Catholic University

Kate Inglis claimed the top spot in the 105-runner field with an impressive time of 21:56.49, edging out her closest competitor by five seconds. This marked Inglis’s first Performer of the Year award and the first time a Catholic University runner has captured the individual title at the conference championships.

For the second consecutive year, the University of Scranton secured the Rookie of the Year title. Callie Gorman earned the honor with a 10th-place finish, clocking in at 23:10.86, which also landed her a spot on the Second Team All-Conference. Gorman is the fourth Royal to receive this distinction.

Despite being picked third in the Landmark Conference Championship Poll, the Catholic University coaching staff, led by Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Steve Rahn and assisted by David Carter, Ivan Alvarado, Cecilia Maillet, and Patrick Maxwell, guided the Cardinals to their second straight conference title with 59 points.
