TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference Men's Soccer Championship is set to showcase a rare postseason matchup, as Juniata and Catholic have not met in postseason action since 2013 will battle for the title. Both teams have had standout performances this season, setting the stage for what will be an intense fight for the championship.

This championship game is set to be unforgettable, as these two teams have been anticipating a postseason rematch for over a decade. The only previous postseason meeting between Juniata and Catholic occurred back in 2013, when Juniata secured a 3-1 victory in the conference tournament semifinals.

The Cardinals are aiming for their seventh conference championship in their 10th championship game appearance, with a 13-7-4 all-time record in the Landmark Conference tournament. On the other hand, the Eagles are looking to make history with their second-ever appearance in the Landmark Conference Championship, their first since 2013. They are hoping to bring home the program's first conference title.

This season, both Juniata and Catholic remain undefeated in conference play. When the two teams met in the regular season, it was a hard-fought battle that ended in a 1-1 draw. Offensively and defensively, both teams are at the top of the conference. Juniata leads the league with 39 goals scored, while Catholic follows closely with 32. Defensively, the Eagles have conceded just 16 goals, while the Cardinals have allowed 20.
