INDIANAPOLIS - Joey Madore, Director of Athletic Broadcasting and Communications at Catholic University, was selected to attend the 2025 Division III Athletic Communicators Emerging Elite Program. The three-day program will take place in Indianapolis from December 7-9.
Thirty participants are selected each year and receive full funding to attend the program in Indianapolis.
“I am super grateful to have been nominated for this opportunity, and am very ecstatic to be selected for this program,” said Madore. “I think this will be a great networking opportunity and I am excited to share thoughts and ideas with other professionals who are in a similar position and environment as myself.”
Launched in 2024, the Athletic Communicators Emerging Elite Program is a professional development initiative hosted annually in December at the NCAA National Office in Indianapolis. Created in partnership with D3SIDA and College Sports Communicators, the program is designed to elevate Division III's next generation of athletic communication leaders.
Nominees who met one or more of the following criteria were eligible:
- Early-career professionals aspiring to advance to a director-level role
- Newly appointed athletic communications directors
- Professionals committed to long-term careers in Division III athletics communication
“Joey has quickly become one of the rising stars in the Landmark, and it’s been great getting to know him better and watch his work firsthand, especially at last spring’s baseball championship,” said Landmark Commissioner, Katie Boldvich. "His selection for the Emerging Elite Program is incredibly well-deserved, and we’re thrilled to see the Landmark once again represented in this outstanding cohort. I have no doubt he’ll make the most of the experience and continue to elevate our conference’s storytelling.”
Participants will plan to engage in interactive sessions focused on leadership development, managing and growing a team, cross-department collaboration, and navigating the evolving landscape of college athletics communications. The experience includes in-person networking, skill-building workshops, and a one-time complimentary registration to the College Sports Communicators Convention the following June.
