The Royals won by scores of 25–19, 25–21, 28–26, improving to 21–10 on the year. How It Happened Scranton opened the night by taking control early in the first set, building a steady advantage and closing out a 25–19 win behind an efficient offensive rhythm. The second set remained tight throughout, but the Royals created separation late to pull away for a 25–21 victory and a 2–0 match lead. Catholic pushed back hard in the third, trading points deep into extra play, but Scranton held firm and secured the match with a 28–26 finish to complete the sweep.
