Juniata Earns AVCA Team Academic Champion Honors; Four Landmark Programs Recognized

TOWSON, Md. – Four Landmark Conference women's volleyball programs were recognized for their academic success by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), highlighted by Juniata College earning the Division III Team Academic Champion award.

Elizabethtown College, Juniata College, The University of Scranton, and Susquehanna University each received the AVCA Team Academic Award, which recognizes programs that maintain a year-long team grade-point average of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale.

In addition to earning the Team Academic Award, Juniata was named to the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll, which recognizes the top 20 percent of team GPAs within each division, and earned the distinction of Team Academic Champion after recording the highest team GPA in NCAA Division III.

The four Landmark programs have also continued their impressive streaks of academic achievement. Elizabethtown earned its 10th consecutive AVCA Team Academic Award, while Scranton extended its streak to 15 straight years and Susquehanna earned its 13th consecutive honor.
