TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference selects 23 senior scholar-athletes each year to recognize the top student-athlete in each sport based on academics and athletics.
The honorees must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 and are selected by a committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors, senior woman administrators, faculty athletic representatives, athletic communications, and diversity, ethnicity, and inclusion designee.
Juniata College's Audrey Muth has been recognized as the Landmark Conference Women's Volleyball Senior Scholar-Athlete. She is the program's sixth athlete to receive this honor.
Muth has established herself as one of Juniata's most accomplished and consistent student-athletes, excelling on the court while maintaining a strong academic record as a Campus Ministry Education major with a minor in English. She carries an impressive 3.76 grade point average and earned Landmark Academic Honor Roll recognition in both her sophomore and junior seasons.
A strong contributor to Juniata's dynasty, Muth helped guide the Eagles to four consecutive Landmark Conference Championships (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) and an extraordinary run of three straight NCAA Division III National Championships (2022, 2023, 2024). Her impact was felt year after year, earning four Landmark All-Conference selections, earning First Team honors in both 2024 and 2025, following Second Team recognition in 2022 and 2023. She was named the 2022 Landmark Rookie of the Year and has distinguished herself nationally with three AVCA All-America honors (Third Team in 2023 and Honorable Mention in both 2022 and 2024). Muth has also been recognized as one of the region's top competitors with four AVCA All-Region selections (2022, 2023, 2024, & 2025).
Muth's academic achievements match her athletic success. She is a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree (2023), is an active member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (2024–Present), and the National College Athlete Honor Society (2025–Present), highlighting her continued commitment to excellence both in and out of the classroom.
Her service to the community has also had a significant impact. Muth has volunteered as a Seventh Grade Faith Formation Teacher at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Huntingdon, Pa., supported local students through School Psychology class engagement with the Huntingdon Area High School PBIS Team, and, in 2025, participated in the MLK Day of Service with the Huntingdon County Arts Council. She has also been a dedicated volunteer at the Special Olympics Huntingdon Fall Sectional all four years at JC, embodying the institution's mission of leadership and service.
