Landmark Announces Athletes of the Week

TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference has released the Athletes of the Week. The conference will recognize a student-athlete for each sport based on their contributions to their team throughout the season.

For the fall season, field hockey, football, soccer, and volleyball will be announced on Monday, followed by cross country, golf, and tennis on Tuesday.

  • Defensive Athlete of the Week: Galen Limantour (Susquehanna)                                                        Galen Limantour anchored Susquehanna’s defensive front in a commanding 35-10 victory at Lycoming, helping the River Hawks remain unbeaten in conference play. Limantour finished with six tackles, including four solo stops, three tackles for loss totaling 10 yards and a six-yard sack. His three tackles for loss accounted for half of Susquehanna’s team total, while his second-quarter sack and fourth-quarter tackle for loss helped force key punts. Offensive Athlete of the Week: Trey Dogmantis (Wilkes)                                                                        Trey Dogmantis delivered a career-best performance at Catholic, accounting for 371 yards of total offense and three touchdowns while leading Wilkes to a season-high 41 points. The junior quarterback completed 13 of 25 passes for 236 yards and two touchdowns, connecting on scoring strikes of 26 and 47 yards. Dogmantis also made a major impact on the ground, rushing for 135 yards on 12 carries, highlighted by a 70-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

  • Athlete of the Week: Addison Dodge (Susquehanna)                                                                          Addison Dodge delivered a dominant offensive performance in Susquehanna’s five-set victory over Drew, helping the River Hawks clinch a berth in the Landmark Conference Tournament. Dodge recorded a match-high 26 kills on 41 attacks with just four errors, posting an impressive .537 hitting percentage. She also contributed four blocks, including two solo stops, and finished with a match-high 29 points. Accounting for 40 percent of Susquehanna’s 65 kills, Dodge played a pivotal role in the River Hawks’ 3-2 victory, highlighted by a 15-9 win in the decisive fifth set.

Defensive Athlete of the Week: Sam Love (Moravian)                                                                             Sam Love anchored Moravian’s defense during a 2-1 week, helping the Greyhounds secure the No. 4 seed in the upcoming Landmark Conference Tournament. Love totaled 48 digs and 11 service aces across three matches, highlighted by a 21-dig performance against No. 9 Juniata.
