Landmark Announces 2026 Women's Indoor Track & Field All-Conference

TOWSON, Md. – Landmark Conference student-athletes and coaches turned in standout performances at the 2025-26 Women’s Indoor Track & Field championship, with the University of Scranton and Catholic University claiming top individual and team honors.

Individual awards are nominated and voted on by the league’s head coaches at the conclusion of the conference championship. The Coaching Staff of the Year is also selected by a vote of the league’s head coaches.

All-Conference teams are determined by place finishes at the championship meet: first-place finishers earn First Team honors, second-place finishers earn Second Team, and third-place finishers earn Honorable Mention.

Track Performer of the Year: Sam Sharrow (University of Scranton)
Field Performer of the Year: Molly White (University of Scranton)
Rookie of the Year: Olivia Sobkowicz (Catholic University)
Coaching Staff of the Year: University of Scranton

Sharrow had a historic championship performance, winning three events: the 200m dash in 25.42, the long jump at 5.62 meters, and the 60m dash in 7.70. She tied the championship meet record during the 60m dash prelims with a time of 7.66 seconds, originally set by Amanda Crooks of Moravian University in 2020. Sharrow becomes the first women’s student-athlete from Scranton to earn Track Performer of the Year, and her 60m dash time currently ranks 18th nationally in Division III.

White earned Field Performer of the Year, becoming the first female field performer from the Royals to claim the honor. She was a five-time medalist, scoring victories in the high jump (1.55m) and triple jump (11.22m) and a bronze in the long jump (5.26m) for a total of 26 points. She also added two track medals, contributing to a standout overall performance for Scranton.

After being named the 2025 Women’s Cross Country Rookie of the Year, Sobkowicz carried her strong form into indoor track & field to earn Rookie of the Year honors. She broke the indoor 5,000-meter run championship record with a time of 17:41.01, surpassing the previous mark of 17:56.00 set by former Scranton runner Jessica Hoffmann in 2022. Sobkowicz is the first-ever Rookie of the Year for the Cardinals.

Led by Jon Cutright and assisted by Bill Burke, Joe Bennett, and Eric Lukan, the coaching staff guided the Royals to the program’s first-ever indoor championship title. Scranton, which did not sponsor track & field until 2018, posted its highest point total ever at 181, earning 19 medals overall, eight gold, five silver, and six bronze. Sam Sharrow tied the championship meet record during the 60m dash prelims with a time of 7.66. Cutright earns Coaching Staff of the Year honors for the first time with Scranton, adding to a previous honor he won at Juniata in 2011.
