TOWSON, Md. – University of Scranton women’s track & field student-athlete Molly White has been named a finalist for the Landmark Conference Female Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year, an honor recognizing graduating seniors who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in academics, athletics, leadership, and community service throughout their collegiate careers. The league’s overall Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year will be selected from four finalists and submitted for consideration for the Division III Commissioners Association (DIIICA) National Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
White concluded one of the most decorated careers in program history while maintaining a 3.91 grade point average as a Communications and Philosophy major. She played a key role in helping the Royals capture the 2026 Landmark Conference Outdoor Track & Field team championship and became one of Division III's premier multi-event athletes.
During the outdoor season, White earned United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honors and Second Team All-America recognition in the heptathlon. She claimed the 2025 All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) heptathlon championship and qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the event in both 2025 and 2026. White earned six All-Landmark selections outdoors during her career, including three First Team honors in 2026, and captured four individual conference championships across the 2025 and 2026 seasons. Earlier this year, she set a program record of 4,850 points in the heptathlon.
White also excelled during the indoor season, earning First Team All-America honors in the pentathlon and being named the 2026 Landmark Indoor Field Performer of the Year. She collected five indoor All-Landmark selections in 2026, including two First Team honors, after earning three All-Conference accolades during the 2025 season.
Academically, White earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors and was recognized on the Landmark Academic Honor Roll.
White volunteered at a local food pantry and served as Service Chair for the KANIA Women in Business Club. She also served as president of the Rho Tau Eta Communications Honor Society and held leadership positions in Student Government as a senator and Chair of Athletics and Programming.
