The accolade makes him the seventh player in program history to receive an All-America distinction and marks the third consecutive season a Catholic student-athlete has been named to the NABC All-America team. NABC Release Joining the group of Jesse Hafemeister, Jay Howard, Bryson Fonville, Chris Kearney, and Matt Hilleary, Ruoff becomes the third player in program history to receive Second Team honors, joining Hilleary, who was selected twice, and Hafemeister. He continues to pile up accolades this season, including Landmark Conference Player of the Year and First Team All-Region V honors from both the NABC and D3hoops.com. Ruoff put together one of the most prolific scoring seasons in program history, finishing eighth in points per game (19.5) and seventh in total points (547) in Division III single-season program history. He also led the team in three-pointers made with 68, shooting 39 percent from deep, and paced the squad in assists with 122, averaging 4.4 per game to rank third in the Landmark Conference. He scored 15 or more points in 21 games, including 13 outings of 20+ points, and had a stretch where he totaled 70 points over two games against Elizabethtown and Lycoming. Overall, Ruoff is now the 16th player in program history to earn All-America recognition.
