Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week: Jack Minetti (Moravian University)
Minetti led the Greyhounds with 10 goals and three assists to go with three ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers in a 2-0 week for Moravian in Landmark Conference action. Minetti had four goals, including the game-winner and two ground balls in a 9-6 victory over Drew University, and he added six goals and three assists in an 18-5 win at Juniata College.
Men's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week: Liam Kelly (Moravian University)
Kelly helped the Greyhounds to a 2-0 week in Landmark Conference action as he posted a 5.64 goals-against average, a 2-0 mark, 23 saves, a .697 save percentage, seven ground balls, and two caused turnovers while playing 106 of 120 minutes. Kelly made 12 saves with four ground balls in a 9-6 victory over Drew University, and he added nine saves and three ground balls over the first 46 minutes of an 18-5 win at Juniata College.
Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week: Jillian Lopez (University of Scranton)
Lopez powered Scranton to a 2-1 week, totaling 14 goals and 16 points across three games. Against No. 22 Williams, she had a hand in half of the team’s goals and added one assist. In the victory over Lycoming, she scored six goals on 11 shots, including eight shots on goal (.727 SOG%), while adding four draw controls for the 24-6 victory. She followed with another strong showing against Elizabethtown, recording three goals and one assist for four points while contributing two ground balls, one caused turnover, and three draw controls in a decisive 19-8 win
Women's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week: Eileen Hewitt (University of Scranton)
Hewitt delivered a strong performance for Scranton in a three-game stretch, making a significant impact on both ends of the field. Against No. 22 Williams College, she had four ground balls, four caused turnovers, and two draw controls. Against Lycoming, she added two ground balls, one caused a turnover, and 11 draw controls. To end the week against Elizabethtown, Hewitt was a force defensively, recording five ground balls, five caused turnovers, and five draw controls. For the week, Hewitt totaled eleven ground balls, 10 caused turnovers, and 18 draw controls.
