Postseason Begins Saturday for Landmark Men’s Lacrosse

TOWSON, Md. - With the regular season complete, the six-team field is set for the Landmark Conference Men’s Lacrosse Tournament. The top two seeds, The University of Scranton and Catholic University, earned first-round byes and advance directly to next Wednesday’s semifinal round. The remaining four teams open postseason play on Saturday, April 25, with two semifinal spots up for grabs.

First Round Matchups - Saturday, April 25
No. 6 Drew University at No. 3 Elizabethtown College
  • Elizabethtown enters the tournament at 8-9 overall and 7-2 in Landmark play, looking to carry regular-season momentum into the postseason. Reese Levinson has been a key piece all year and could play a major role on Saturday, scoring at least one goal in every game but one this season.
     
  • Drew comes in as the sixth seed and will look to make its mark right away. Led by Joost van der Horst, the Rangers will try to extend their season with an upset bid.
Previous Meeting: April 15 - Elizabethtown won 19-10. Saturday marks the first postseason meeting between the two programs.

First Round Matchups - Saturday, April 25
No. 5 Susquehanna University at No. 4 Moravian University
  • Moravian finished the regular season at 10-6 overall and 5-4 in conference play, relying heavily on Jake Minetti, who posted 43 goals and 17 assists this spring. It marks the Greyhounds’ third straight postseason appearance and their first time hosting a playoff game.
     
  • Susquehanna closed the year at 8-9 overall and 5-4 in Landmark action. The River Hawks dropped to the fifth seed after losing the head-to-head tiebreaker with Moravian. Matt Chubenko leads the team in scoring entering tournament play.

Previous Meeting: April 3 - Moravian won 10-8.

Top Seeds
No. 1 University of Scranton
  • After putting together a strong regular season and finishing 11-6 overall and 9-0 in conference play, Scranton, the 2025 league champion, claimed the top seed and a semifinal bye. The Royals will face the winner of Moravian and Susquehanna.

No. 2 Catholic University
  • Catholic secured the second seed after going 12-5 overall and 8-1 in Landmark play, with its only conference loss coming against Scranton. The Cardinals will host the winner of the Elizabethtown and Drew matchup in the semifinals.
