TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference has announced its major awards and All-Conference honors for the 2026 Men’s Outdoor Track & Field season, following the conclusion of the conference championship. Individual awards were voted on by the league’s head coaches, while All-Conference teams were determined by place finishes at the championship meet.
Track Performer of the Year: Will Inglis (Elizabethtown College)
Field Performer of the Year: Zach Mogambi (Drew University)
Rookie of the Year: Owen Nugent (Susquehanna University)
Coaching Staff of the Year: Moravian University
Inglis had a dominant championship performance that included victories in both the 1,500-meter run (3:53.92) and the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:28.90), as well as a runner-up finish in the 800-meter run (1:56.02). Inglis’ 1,500-meter time set a facility record and currently ranks among the top 50 in NCAA Division III, while his steeplechase performance ranks in the top 80 nationally. With the honor, he becomes the fourth Blue Jay to earn Men’s Track Performer of the Year recognition, joining Myron Holland Jr. (2023), Sam Gerstenbacher (2018), and Zach Trama (2016).
Mogambi had a standout all-around performance in the field events. Mogambi captured gold in the discus with a facility-record throw of 47.81 meters, a mark that ranks among the top 60 in NCAA Division III. He also placed third in the hammer (45.34m), second in the shot put (14.43m), and 14th in the javelin with a personal-best throw of 43.18m. Mogambi becomes the first field athlete in program history to earn the award.
Nugent had a breakthrough championship meet. Nugent placed third in the 100-meter dash with a personal-best time of 10.85, then won the 200-meter dash in a personal-best, facility-record, and NCAA Division III top-100 time of 21.71. He also ran on the winning 4x100-meter relay team, which set a facility record with a time of 42.16. He continues a strong tradition of rookie success at Susquehanna, becoming the fourth straight River Hawk to earn the honor, the fifth in the last six years, and the ninth overall.
The Greyhounds secured three individual event titles across the 20 championship events and recorded 13 All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying marks during the meet, including 11 on Sunday alone. Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Jesse Baumann, along with assistant coaches Jonathan D’Ottavio (throws), Beth Ann Davies (pole vault), Ryan Harper (throws), Sean McFarland (sprints), David Scheck (hurdles), Vance Clarke (jumps), and Natalie Stabilito (distance), led Moravian to its sixth Men’s Coaching Staff of the Year honor.
