TOWSON, Md. – The Landmark Conference selects 23 senior scholar-athletes each year to recognize the top student-athletes in each sport based on academics and athletics. The honorees must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 and are selected by a committee of Landmark Conference officers, athletics directors, senior woman administrators, faculty athletic representatives, athletic communications, and diversity, ethnicity, and inclusion designee.
University of Scranton women’s track & field student-athlete Molly White has been named a 2025-26 Landmark Conference Senior Scholar-Athlete. White is a communications and philosophy major with a 3.91 grade point average and concluded one of the most decorated careers in program history while excelling academically and serving in numerous leadership and service roles across campus.
White helped lead the Royals to a Landmark Conference team championship in 2026 while capturing four individual conference championships in 2025 and 2026. Across her career, she earned 11 All-Conference selections and garnered All-Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in 2026. Among her top accomplishments, White claimed the 2025 All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Outdoor Heptathlon Regional Championship and qualified for the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships in the heptathlon, solidifying herself as one of the top multi-event athletes in the region.
White has qualified for the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships, ranking seventh nationally in Division III heptathlon after setting a program record of 4,850 points earlier this season.
Academically, White has earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors in 2024, as well as Landmark Academic Honor Roll recognition.
Beyond athletics and academics, White remained deeply involved in leadership and community engagement initiatives at Scranton. She volunteered at a local food pantry and served as Service Chair for the KANIA Women in Business Club. White also held the role of president of the Rho Tau Eta Communications Honor Society and served in Student Government as a senator and Chair of Athletics and Programming.
